The other day I was writing a Boviratar fanfic with "Breezeblocks" playing in the background (mostly for the final fragment) playing in the background, and I realized that the song never really explodes. It constantly keeps you in a state of tension and relaxation. There's never a guitar riff. And the end is a sweet, almost childlike voice. That tone remembers me Bolin's complacency (fawn response). Yet the lyrics make me think more of Baatar jr. He's like: "I love so much I could eat you. Seriously, I could literally eat you, like a sweet treat".

Sometimes I think about how Mako and Bolin try to take advantage of their new, quieter life (compared to the streets) to read and write.

We can see Mako borrowing books from Jinora. And Bolin tries to write Korra the most exquisite and refined letters possible. They genuinely yearn for education and culture.

Currently been thinking about Boviratar.

Like. Kuvira is literally his type (dominant, inaccessible, strong). Without Opal, she definitely would be his girlfriend of the season.

A Beifong with no bending still a Beifong. Also, Bo has the tendency on relying on on cool guys to guide him in life. So, he saw Baatar doing literally anything related to the train and now he believes Baatar is the coolest, smartest guy in the world.

Something about Bo spending a pretty big amount of time listening to Baatar Jr. yapping about engineering. Doesn't now what a what a 1/2"-13 butterfly nut is, but adores the blush on Baatar cheeks, his awkward smile and how his eyes lit up.

Something about Baatar Jr. feeling seeing. Having an ego boost every time Bolin tells him how cool he is, how great are his inventions, how much is helping the Earth Kingdom's people.

Something about Kuvira feeling genuinely dear. How seen she is. How pure, candid and selfless can love being (for her all the girls that Bolin brought into the changing rooms during his time as a pro-bender doesn't exist). Feeling than sometimes only Baatar and Bo see all her efforts.

Something about Bolin defending Kuvira even more vehemently. Feeling useful. Thinking that this time it will work.

And above all, Bolin is ignoring all the warning signs and being extremely complacent because otherwise those two will explode.

I was looking for the exact location of Zaofu. I thought it was in the north because of the many mountains and rivers, but the Wiki says it's in the southwest.

I looked at several maps, and none seemed to point to Zaofu. I read some Reddit discussions; according to Kuvira's map, it appears to be the small green dot in the southwest, near Gaoling.

Only one map shows a small state, called Zhaozang, where Zaofu must be. That makes me think the state is so small it's practically forgotten, which explains why Suyin was able to buy large tracts of land. I wouldn't be surprised if he bought the whole state and then changed it's name, since she says to Korra there was nothing there before. And Kuvira refers to Zaofu as a state, not a city.

Even so, geography doesn't convince me.
