Analysis of Extended Zodiac

A quick look at the Homestuck Extended Zodiac test and the signs themselves. Message for specific signs and Ill do my best to get to them faster. -Eevee

ARRIUS (SIGN OF THE VISUALIZER): This is the sign of those who hold elements of RUST bloods, DERSE dreamers, and the HOPE aspect. 

BREAKDOWN: ARRIUS is, of course, part of the RUST family. This gives them a bend and a sense of confidence that is hard to rival. They are natural leaders, and can be foolhardy. They are also DERSE dreamers, which can lead to strong senses of awareness. They are cognitive of the world around them, and this ties into their HOPE aspect. The HOPE aspect is idealistic; “ their views of the world can be quite black and white “. The pessimism from the DERSE sway can mingle with this and lead to an even more monochromatic view. HOWEVER, their awareness from their SWAY combined with the idealistic nature of their ASPECT may lead them to tearing down a system that doesnt work and replacing it with one they are certain will work.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN: For ARRIUS, it means a lot of things. They are confident in their convictions. RUST blood gives them this confidence, and their SWAY and ASPECT leads them to believe they really do know what is right and what is wrong. They may be led almost entirely by this: and it can lead to destruction and burning down establishments, or the more peaceful building of a system they think is correct, despite the fact that it may not universally be benefitial. Whatever the case may be, they are certain they are doing what is right. Check in with your ARRIUS friend often, as they may need guidance. Or help with a torch. They are a visionary... even when their vision isnt the best.

ARSCES (SIGN OF THE PILGRAM): ARSCES is the sign of those whom have qualities from DERSE dreamers, RUST blood, and the LIFE aspect. Lets get into it.

BREAKDOWN: This RUST catagory has an interesting blend. RUST catagory signs are marked and known for their ability to lead, their confidence, and their “foolhardy” standpoint of jumping in both feet first. This sign also has the DERSE affect of tangled pessimism but the ability to solve things. They question what is around them using critical thinking which may come off as negative or harsh. HOWEVER, this sign has a secondary affect from DERSE that ties nicely into their LIFE aspect. This is the ability to look ahead. DERSE dreamers “constantly look towards the future and analyze the past”, while LIFE players are concerned with “ the onward march of positive progress.” LIFE players are healers, caretakers, and are generally concerned for everyone around them. While they can be bitter when their own needs are disregarded, they are empathetic and kind at their best. 

WHAT DOES IT MEAN: In contect for ARSCES, they have an interesting blend. They are adventureous and bold but are aware of their morals. They are likely to bend to meet the needs of others, and this can be seen by the resilience of the RUST bloods, and the sacrifical nature of the LIFE aspect. The LIFE aspect combined with the DERSE dream-state makes them likely to analyze the past and wish their actions had been different: but they are likely always looking ahead and basing their future choices off of the past so as to make a path that is best for everyone. Check in on these friends often, as the LIFE aspect in them will lead them to feel scorned if their needs are not met, especially after sacrificing for others what they feel will not be sacrificed for themselves.

ARIES:This is the first sign we will be taking a look at. Aries is obviously one of the 12 traditional signs, and the first of the twentyfour under the RUST catagory. This is also the sign of Aradia, a Time player and a Derse dreamer. 

BREAKDOWN: RUST signs are classical adventurers. They seek thrill and are marked as being “confident and energetic”, but also “foolhardy”. They are an intensely tough sign and are able to bend opposed to break. TRUE ARIES is no exception to this, though it may be tricky for them. The TIME aspect does not help them bend, but instead leads them to fight. TIME players are marked by their resistence to change and they are “fundamentally incapable of just accepting things as they come.” This sign is far from passive. At their peak, TIME players can be “empathetic and relentless problem solvers”, and at their worst can be “ruthless, defensive, and impulsive”. The DERSE dream-state will only add to TRUE ARIES struggles with this. DERSE dreamers are known for their skeptism and questioning of the world around them and are pessimistic. This adds to the inability to bend for TRUE ARIES, and they are bound to struggle with change due to their attributes. 

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN: What this all chalks up to for TRUE ARIES is that they are known for their adventurous spirit, their ability to lead, but also their inability to accept change. The TIME in them leads them to constant conflict, but TIME and DERSE lead them to be excellent problem solvers. They want badly to succeed and defeat those odds, but often are unwilling to compromise. Despite this, they can be incredible companions with a good sense of humor, and can be fantastically connected to those around them. Check in on your TRUE ARIES friends often.

WELCOME! To eeveeanalysis’ dark corner of the web. Here I will be analyzing each of the signs brought to us by the Extended Zodiac quiz. My goal is to work through all of them and give a bit of a breakdown as to what they might mean, and what they might mean to each of us as a person. My goal is to start with the lowest bloods and then work to seadwellers, but Im likely to take stops inbetween. Cheers, folks!
