13 Reasons Why got me thinking- What has our world come to? Does it really take an entire show about suicide to bring up the problem? There's a girl in my school who suicided, but it was covered and forgotten. 'Nobody talk about it'. And also, does giving out a suicide no. help anyone? Like all our problems will go away with a hotline no. Yeah go ahead, keep passing on the no. Keep liking all those posts about it but don't actually do anything. That's great. Continue. Just remember, you made it worse. It's like a trend, not a help. Everyone just posting about it, trying to appear so great in front of others, when the truth is, it's just a game for them. Bringing someone's personal problems in front of everyone won't help them because no matter what you say or what you do, this world is judgemental. [If I have offended anyone with this post, I'm sorry, but these are my views and I do have the freedom to express them.]

Excerpt

I was on a ship, which was sinking deeper and deeper into the void. I looked at the water which was churning large waves, devoid of any emotion. It was a moonless night, like many to come and hidden in the shadows were fears. In every inch of the vast ocean were the ghosts of my past, haunting me till the end. And as the first rays of dawn shone above the horizon, my fears engulfed me completely and the ocean pulled me down to its depths for eternity. Written by @effed-up Excerpt #2

Excerpt that will never be a book

The urge to just sleep away my troubles was tempting, but sleep was far away. I was drowning in the sea of the day’s happenings, the waves of emotion pulling me under. For once, I felt like giving up. I was tired of fighting, of being strong. Tears were welling up in my eyes. I let one tear fall, hoping it would the first and the last. I couldn’t control them after that. I felt a drizzle of warm tears drift down my cheek. Soon, I was crying my heart out, clutching my chest. It hurt from the pain of the heartbreak.
