âRomantic obsession is my first language. I live in a world of fantasies, infatuations and love poems. Sometimes I wonder if the yearning Iâve felt for others was more of a yearning for yearning itself. Iâve pined insatiably and repeatedly: for strangers, new lovers, unrequited flames. While the subjects changed, that feeling always remained. Perhaps, then, I have not been so infatuated with the people themselves, but with the act of longing.â

How to feel like a princess
Write letters in cursuve, seal them with wax. Calligraphic pens are always an asset.
Read books outside or next to natural light. Read anything your heart desires, as long as it rests within paper bound in cover.
Always lift your pinkie finger from your cup. Practice this regardless of your drinks container, but a china cup of tea is the most fit for a princess.
Learn how to play chess. You needn't be the winner, you only must be a modest player.
Be kind to animals and talk to them. Whether it be a white rabbit, a bluebird, or just a butterfly landing on a nearby flower bush, you can be their friend.
Daydream and hope. What you want is so close, dear. As long as you believe it is.
Smell the roses you pass as you walk. Smile as if the aroma has lifted away all of your worries and sorrows.
Light lovely candles, and always be the one to blow them out. Matches are preferred, but if you must use a lighter, remember to lift it with grace.
Swoon over statues. Be enchanted by their beauty. Touch the chiseled or marble face and gaze at their eyes, wonder what their story would have been if theyvwere of flesh and bone.
When you look in your full length mirror and love what you see, twirl along your bedroom floor, let your hair, skirt and/or loose jewlery bounce and glide with you.
Explore quaint places like bookstores, bakeries, and antique shops marvel at everything you see.
Always, always, always use self care beauty products. Clear skin, plump lips and shiny hair can go a long way for your confidence.
stop making shows about americans in europe⌠try europeans in america instead. the outrage of not knowing exactly what something costs at a store,, no public transport,, everyone smiling in your face and waiters scaring you by constantly popping up at your table⌠ice in your water for some reason,, the kind of culture clash i want to see!!

Things that take time & many tries to get right:
learning to be a good friend/partner
healing from depression, failures or heartbreak
becoming amazing at an art or skill
overcoming anxiety, insecurities and low body image
overcoming the need to isolate yourself
changing self-hating thoughts to kinder ones
making a real connection with someone
overcoming self-defeating and self-sabotaging thoughts
learning how to study effectively
finding a sense of stability and calmness at your core
quitting habits or addictions
leaving people and behaviours that turn you into the worst version of yourself
getting used to healthier coping mechanisms & mindsets that feel fake
treating yourself like you truly care about yourself
becoming the person you always wanted to be
we have collectively gone through too much to turn around and blame ourselves for the stresses weâve faced

After seeing the dad how do I channel, I really wanted this one. I searched for it and, tada! Mom how do I? Seems rather new, but I love it anyway.
This is such a cute and helpful idea, especially since some people either didnât grow up with someone who could teach them this stuff or they grew up with parents who did everything for them. I knew a lot of guys in college who didnât know how to do laundry or cook!

Awww this is so cute and very useful!!!
Ladies you need to normalise being spoiled and taken care of. The best way to do this is through self care. I don't just mean face masks or nice baths. Take yourself out on dates, do a little shopping when you feel like it because of the mere fact that you deserve it, buy yourself flowers and nice things. You will automatically expect the same from a man, in fact it will come natural for a man to spoil you because he sees you already having that expectation because you do it for yourself.
Romanticizing your life is key. Every detail of your life should be like a critically acclaimed dreamy movie. Impeccable wardrobe, beautiful surroundings, and small actions and sentiments that make every moment unforgettable.
