Some of you may not want to hear this, but sometimes autism accommodation means giving that socially awkward person who said something that came off as passive aggressive or uncomfortable the benefit of the doubt. Not everyone is capable of reading social rules and cues effectively, I thought this was autism 101.

he looked thoughtful and said, "oh, I never considered it that way." turns out he was just a geopolitics nerd and didn't realize people might react emotionally to what he saw as a purely intellectual discussion

Not to sound too critical, but I loved the exterior of the 1899 restored Lookaway Estate in Nashville, TN, but I was a little disappointed in the very modern, too-perfect look of some of the restoration, combined with the old brick. 5bds, 4ba, 3,381sqft, $1,549,900.
As you enter. I'm thinking that this was a more enclosed hall that they opened up. Now, it's open with the living room on the right and the kitchen/dining room on the left, which I suspect was reconfigured.
The living room gets so much natural light with the long windows. Love the brick and the fireplace.
Then, across the hall the dining room is in the front and there's a partial wall separating it from the kitchen. That wall has to have been cut. I like to try to piece together the original construction.
Then, enter the large modern kitchen. It's a beautiful kitchen.
Pass-thru to the bedroom hallway. Note the original hardware on the doors.
First, there's a guest half bath.
Then, the long hall.
Pretty, bedroom suite.
Look at the cute tiny tub next to an old fireplace. This was definitely reconfigured, but I'm glad they left it.
This room is a home office.
Very nice large laundry room with a folding table.
Another nice bedroom.
With a walk-in closet.
And, finally a lovely big primary bedroom with doors to the garden.
Large ensuite with a "wet bath."
And, a nice walk-in closet/dressing room.
In here, there's another separate living quarter with a private entrance.
It's a studio apt.
With a shower room and laundry.
Nice fenced yard.
Look at the peaches.
Parking is out in front of the house and it's a 0.42 acre lot.
Fascist language isn't just about slang or 4chan words, it's also about how you talk about and to other people. I want you to notice how many "leftist" memes are rooted in shame and superiority. I want you to notice canned and reductive talking points. I want you to wrestle with your own bias towards other people being "stupid" or "lazy", and notice when the content you consume confirms these biases. Your smug sense of superiority isn't cute. It's a root cause of your alienation from other people. You lack an ability to take a principled stance that doesn't also position you as "above" someone who lacks the same information or ability as you. You lack the ability to explain your principled stance in a way that doesn't put them down and alienate them from your cause.
