tadc the last act spoilers!!
this is what happened right?
Listen, if anyone's going to understand, it's Ragatha....
60-second sketches using https://line-of-action.com/practice-tools/app/faces-expressions for reference, hoping I can lift this art block fog in time to actually draw some attacks for ArtFight
even with the loss of the bisque piece, I'm pretty happy the glazed pieces I had waiting for me at the pottery studio came out so well - particularly proud that those dishes still stack so nicely after firing. I've got them soaking to test that they're vitrified properly, but I'm cautiously optimistic
A moment of silence please for this casualty of my GHC (General Health Clusterfuck)
I've been doing much better for several months now, and finally got caught up on all the things around the house that I'd fallen behind on while I was sick, so I thought I'd go in to the pottery studio today. Not only do I apparently need to re-learn how to center on the wheel, but it turns out that they only have room to keep bisque pieces for four weeks (perfectly understandable, they've got a limited amount of space and this is from nearly a year ago)
I do at least have my pieces that were ready for glaze firing - since they charge for kiln space for glazing each piece has a ticket that can be traced to a person, so they were waiting for me in my cubby. Still need to mope a bit and have a little treat before I feel up to taking pictures of those, though.
Hauled these guys out of storage for Make a Terrible Comic Day
Got to try out the laser cutter/engraver at the library to personalize a cutting board with a little cat chef doodle
Happy Lunar New Year!
(Posca and Copic markers with lettering/cleanup done in CSP)
hourly comics, part one (please note, I did not intentionally skip my meds, I couldn't remember where I set the refill I just picked up and have since found them, as will be detailed in later hours)
Part 2

suggestion from @thewinterarcher
graphite/prismacolor, lettering pasted in using Clip Studio because I probably should've pencilled the letters in before using ink on my first try....
Finally, I think I have done justice to Felicia's reaction to a Churu opening anywhere in her vicinity

(remember to give the person you reblog from an ask!!)
I was trying to illustrate what happened when I was giving one cat a Churu and holding the other one back (actually up off the ground with one hand, she's small), and while it's not my most polished work I think it captures the moment accurately.
(Felicia did get her own Churu, she's just convinced that all of the Churu tubes are her personal property and gets mad when Juleka gets one. She has in the past:
Headbutted Juleka out of the way
Grabbed my hand with her front paws to steer the tube to her own face instead
Bitten into the other end of the tube
Shoved her face in to just straight-up lick it out of Juleka's mouth like a furry little freak
Frankly, Juleka is starting to get wary of the tubes)
Kiddo realised there's not a poison-type eeveelution and decided that needed to be addressed, then asked me to redraw it to look more 'official'
(it has been named 'Poiseon')
me, yesterday: Make a Terrible Comic day seems like a great low-pressure way to get some of my ideas down on paper
me, today: I have never had an idea in my life, have a venn diagram.
