josh_widdicombe: Different to sum up the incredible experience of the Paralympics in one post. But I feel this video of ivo_graham at the wheelchair tennis is as close as I will get. This two weeks has been another mindblowingly life experience, hugely lucky to hang onto the coattails of the Paralympics and get watch it with my friends.

Seeing Adam and Chris after trying surfing, and Adam saying how disheartening it is to be reminded that he's disabled and there's things he can't do. Chris comforting him, and saying that as someone visually impaired, he gets those reminders all day every day. Such a touching conversation to observe, and a really important conversation to be had!

Since the last paralympics, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. More and more frequently I am getting those reminders that there are things I can't do. It's really rough, so it's very comforting to see that conversation being had. Thank you to Adam and Chris for showing that vulnerability.
