Ubel is part of the same idol group as Fern, sol track. She’s surprisingly really good at managing PR, fan/media interactions, maintains a stellar public image, and is able to talk to a lot while really saying nothing at all. A really fast learner and is able to pick up new skills immediately if they interest her.

Outside of filming, Land is only ever seen wearing suits or business attire. Nobody really knows what he does and people have started coming up with wild theories that seem to get crazier each day. Ubel jokes that he’s a secret agent but he’s probably just a 9-5 office worker. He goes to his favorite cafe so often that they have his order ready the moment he gets to the counter.

They run into each other a lot in public and Land starts to think he’s being stalked but Ubel really does just happen to be there at the same time he is.

They started having lunch together (aka Land is on his lunch break and Ubel shows up uninvited and sits at his table) at the local cafe and sometimes the other actors join them

All the actors were scouted and as far as people know there was no public audition held for the show, some of the actors are no names or acting for the first time with their main fields being something else (music, art, engineer, etc.) which initially drew criticism until the first episode aired and people were surprised by how good production was

Their personalities are basically the same as it is in the anime tbh but changed some things to fit more with modern times

Frieren is nepo baby / old money while Himmel is a former idol turned actor, he’s pining after his costar but remains professional about it while Frieren is pretty much oblivious

i don’t feel like the anime managed to capture tsukasa’s expression the same way the manga did?

in the anime it looks more like. he’s a bit crazed? he looks like the madman he is on his journey to crush more statues. but in the manga. hoooo the manga. the text bubbles themselves add enough emotion but then there’s tsukasa’s eyes

tsukasa doesn’t want to kill senku, he says it himself

senku, who would have been his first friend 3,700 years ago if things were different. senku, who doesn’t hesitate to sacrifice himself when it comes to his friends. senku who stands in the way of tsukasa’s philosophy with his unwavering determination to bring back all 7 billion humans on earth.

tsukasa doesn’t want to kill senku. but he knows that senku would never give up science - still. he tells him, and it’s very close to a plead, to give up science because then, can’t you see senku? then i wouldnt have to kill you.
