First 4 pages ive been cooking up about the beginnings of Vox and Valentino's relationship!! (He is coming in the next pages 🦐🦐))

I actually had this comic idea since s 1 --but considering all that we know now (about when Vox and Al's falling out actually was) i needed to rework the whole thing🫠

Im not sure if I'll actually finish the whole thing but there's definitely more pages to come !

Okay, but can we talk about the fact that this was an attempted suicide? I’ve always thought that Vox died by suicide, and this looks exactly like what I imagined it would.

It's such a staple NPD thing to go full noting-to-lose-suicidal after ruining your image, it hit me so hard.

Yes because I had hoped he would've died by suicide but as im reflecting on voxs character and human life i think it makes more sense.

I think what we see play out essentially voxs final form/arc of his person.

When he was still a human he didnt reach his peak yet- he was only about to get his cult to baptise themselves and truly follow him as a God.

So he had no reason to kill himself- but of course in the finale he ruins absolutely everything. Without people's approval he has nothing to live for.

We essentially get to see what vox would've done as a human if he could've kept going (and of course) eventually ruin his image and reputation.

Alastor somehow convinces the Vees to grant him a little bit of freedom during his capture, in the sense that he's bored as hell, so he's just been hanging around their tower, playing piano, cooking for them. Hey! The cooking's really good! Better than Vox's at least

(You can't tell me his 50s white ass doesn't make tuna sprite jello. They do take out a lot for a reason)

And like, Vox is having House Husband fantasies, and basically, Alastor's grip on him is getting ever tighter. He's not even trying to escape, so that HAS to mean something, right? <- down bad TV head

I love this - he also says he's not sleeping in the chair move over Vox and Vox ends up staring at the ceiling with an Alastor who just showered and so his hair is curling and is wearing one of Vox's old shirts as a night shirt curled up next to him in bed just, frozen. Don't move or he might LEAVE. He goes to sleep and dreams of housewife!Alastor in a fifties dress.

And Val and Vel by this point are all in on Alastor staying, joining the Vees, cooking for them every night, at this point they're willing to trade Vox in for him cause Vox is getting on their NERVES!
