R.I.P. Édith Scob
It is with great sadness that we report the death of Édith Scob. Édith Scob was best-known for her brilliant performance as Christiane Génessier in Eyes Without a Face. Behind a featureless mask, Scob conveyed great pathos and haunting poetry. It is one of the most iconic performances in the history of cinema, and it inspired another memorable masked figure: Halloween’s Michael Myers. Her performance in Eyes Without a Face will forever be one of our favorites. May she rest in peace.
