No to war in Ukraine

Russian teachers are discussing a very interesting topic today on Facebook: how to talk to Russian learners about what's going on in Russia and Ukraine now, how to convince students that the Russian language is a good academic choice...

Many of the teachers feel shame for the country that speaks the language they teach.

Of course, languages are not responsible for crazy politicians. Russian is probably going to become even more popular, for strategic purposes.

But it hurts.

I can't believe that nobody stopped that insanity. But I do hope that it will end soon, with minimal losses.

I wish everybody peace, especially my European friends and students.

I still can’t believe that people still think that Ohio is real. WAKE UP PEOPLE. There is absolutely no way a state can be called Ohio. The government is lying to you.
