I literally have no experience doing frontend / design work in software engineering, but my new job is making me do it.

Normally I would love learning this, and normally it is fine, but sometimes this one engineer comes into my specs like “this looks bad” or “this is nothing like the rest of the app”. This unconstructive feedback just pisses me off. Sorry for being new to this.

And then they have the nerve to tell me that a copy sounds “passive aggressive” for “cultural reasons”. And I’m just like ok totally fair but have you considered that you’re maybe just a jerk and everything reads as if it’s against you personally?
