hello i am here! it’s been a couple months, things are slightly better at home, and i wanna come back because rping is rather therapeutic if i’m honest? and i love percy and i wanna do good things with him

【モクレン】 The sudden approach startled her—an external, high pitched ‘ah!’ of surprise slipping through her mouth as she turned around, hands covering her mouth; she seemed almost as if she were bracing herself for something– a scold, a yell, but her defense was null, seen as her ears could only grasp a nice, gentle and rather… happy voice. It was unusual for her to have people listen to her—but the fact that his boy took his time to even just tap her shoulder warmed up her heart a little bit.

“ O-oh, no, um, it’s–it’s okay… ” her co-worker was being mean…? So she wasn’t making false, rude assumptions? Given, Adrienne still couldn’t believe someone would be mean about her fainting, but it seemed… logical. “ W-well, I c–can’t really, um– c-considering my, ehm, conditions, i-it’s only natural…! O-oh, dear, your father faints every morning? I-is he okay? He doesn’t d-do th–that anywhere too, um, concrete, right…? ”

Her concern for a total stranger’s father isn’t unusual, Adrienne was worried about people she didn’t know more than often; but she asked that also because she often happened to suddendly slump unconscious on the floor or on the counter. In the hitting sense, literally falling and hitting her head. Some friends told her that was the cause of her being ‘dumb’… but Adrienne was at least conscious enough the reason was COMPLETELY SOMETHING ELSE.

     Percy chuckled at the other's comment about his dad - she was pretty cute, actually! Almost reminded him of Maggie, a little bit. Although almost anything and anyone who reminded him of Maggie automatically became cute and lovable. What could he say? He loves his sister! He didn't feel so bad about telling this girl straight up that her co-worker could maybe be being an asshole due to her reaction, and in a way he was kinda glad he did!      He then realised he should probably be paying more attention to what this girl was saying, and he definitely looked interested - smiling down at her with bright eyes, but he was kind of in a whole world of his own. It took him a second to collect his thought and process what she said, but he could do it!

" Hm? Oh! He doesn't like - actually faint - but he gets nauseous because he doesn't like the smell of meat cooking, and my papa - well, sausages are his absolute favourite, let's just say. "

     The concern for his dad was really nice, Percy thought! Although she definitely wouldn't be thinking the same way if she actually met him - he'd probably give her a heart attack.

" And - yeah! If you've got a condition or something, you don't have to disclose that with anyone, but at least it gives you a reason and it can make you feel better about it! I know it can be kinda hard, but try to not care what anyone else says about you fainting! And I'm Percy, by the way, nice to meet you! "

    It wasn't the other boy's - fancy dress - as Percy saw it, that got his attention most of all, it was the fact that he was reading upside down. Now that takes some proper skill, or maybe he can't read...? Percy wasn't entirely sure, and he was also mumbling nonsense to himself, from what Percy could make out - maybe he should ask this kid if he's okay? It's what Papa would do, right?

“ Hey - dude, uh - dunno if you know but - and, I'm not one to pass judgement on what people read, my internet history's terrible - but - your Teen Vogue magazine is um - you're reading it upside down... You okay? ”

     “…”

He stares once again, before placed an elbow against the table he’s sitting at and his chin rested against his gloved hand.

     “You know, you’re kinda weird.”

Yet as he says that, there’s a hint of amusement in Leo’s usual stoic tone as he glances at the Pringle tube.

…God he wants them so badly.

      “So expensive…but so worth it…the conflict is real…”

He does a vague grabby hand motion with his spare hand. Give him some uh… kid who he doesn’t know the name of.

“ I know I am, dude - but in my eyes being normal is hella boring anyway! ”

    With a little bit of a struggle - due to Percy not being the strongest boy out there - the lid popped open and he barely caught it. He took a few Pringles out himself, and wolfed them down, he then stuck the can out in front of Leo, and had a look of 'You know you want tooooooo~' on his face.

“ Oh - my name's Percy, by the way! Percival Eberhardt if you wanna be real fancy - what about you, handsome? ”

        “…”

Staaaaaaaaaareeeee. Blue eyes stared down at the smaller boy silently for a few seconds before finally speaking up.

      “Buy me some then, they’re hecking expensive.”

Leo you don’t tell people you just met to buy you food–

“ No need to buy, my friend! I always have a can of Pringles on me, y’know, for snacking emergencies! ”

    And then the smaller boy took his backpack off of his shoulder and rumagged around, until he pulled out a deep purple can of Texas BBQ Pringles. Triumphantly, he held them up in the air - again, like an anime protag. Stop him.

“ See, look! They go right up to the top! You get exactly what you pay for! “

        “Do you ever have a big packet of crisps and you realize that it doesn’t even fill half the bag and you feel robbed? Because that’s me, like- right now.”

There he is holding a packet of crisps, he’s looking at it in utter disappointment.

【アマリリス】The sudden approach frightened Yoshie, who didn’t expect to be approached—especially not when she was weeping over a bucket of KFC—and found herself even more startled to hear that the stranger ( who was not a stranger at all ) called her name; promptly, she turned around her head, still crouched down, and the mere sight of who approached her was enough to make her entire face go red, eyes widen and voice squeak.

“ R–R… Ro… ” stammering, she couldn’t find the exact words, SPEECHLESS, and most of all, PANICKED. “ R-R–Roxy-s-san?!? I-it’s— it’s— y–… y-y-you, I— I…! ”

What can you even say to a friend you haven’t seen in… months? Years, even? Reconogizing the other made her completely ignore that there was the presence of another bucket of chicken- and as much as she would’ve liked to move, the shock completely paralyzed her, keeping on staring at Roxy with a bewildered expression.

    Oh goodness - Roxy certainly didn’t expect this reaction from her - well, she didn’t exactly feel comfortable calling Yoshie her best friend anymore, due to the fact that they hadn’t seen one another in almost two years. But Yoshie was still very dear to Roxy, and she often checked on her without the other girl knowing. She knew this wasn’t right, but unfortunately it was a bit too late to change her approach now.

“ - Oh dear, Yoshie-chan - I - I am so sorry, I shouldn’t have startled you like this. Are you alright, my dear? Come here, it’s alright. ”

   The redhead practically dropped the bucket of chicken - she couldn’t begin to care for it now. Without thinking too much about it, she pulled her friend into a tight, warm hug. Roxy really wasn't one to give affection lightly - if at all, but Yoshie was special to her, far more than anyone else was. And she didn't think she'd been a good friend to her at all, and it was time she made things better - made things right.

“ .. I haven't been a good friend to you, Yoshie - I've been terrible, and I want to fix it. I hope you can forgive me. ”
