experienced the 90's for one month | got lured into working life, so my master's degree in political science was dragging behind buuuuuuuuuut newly graduated MSSc in April 2025

tomorrow my flight for Germany leaves at 7 am so no fun new year's celebration for me but i just have to say my packing makes me look a messy mix of a city girl and a backpacker

update: i still pulled an allnighter, met a French girl on the bus stop, we had a great bus ride to the airport, and then i flew to Berlin :) here i am in a hostel having a massive cultural chock as nothing is completely private hah

oh yeah i woke up at 9 am on Sunday and haven't slept since and it is almost 7pm on Monday

aaaaaand less than 12 hours after arriving a German tried to hit on me :) apparently i can take some drinks and have sex with him all day and all night till i leave for the next destination on Friday. "you have big deer eyes, strong eyebrows, just very innocent" ew

the chronicles continue: currently in Amsterdam, just asked if i can switch from a dorm to a private room as i'm losing my mind with the people i'm sleeping in the same dorm with. they will leave the same day as i which would mean 3 more nights with people on a budget travel trying to get food from me and come with me to breakfast because they haven't gotten breakfast themselves, dig the trash after i throw something there, pick up broken and dirtu stuff from the streets to use them etc.

but now only 1 more night with them and the last 2 in a private room, very happy even though it was a little more pricy

also i liked Berlin much more

this idiot started writing her essay yesterday at 6 pm and finished it today before noon

13 pages of pure garbage but at least i met the deadline

did i have 2 months to do the essay? yes. did i decide to procrastinate until last minute? absolutely

umm i'm supposed to be at the airport in less than two weeks and i don't have any kind of travel bag and i'm running out of medical supplies i obviously need to bring with me

we love good planning

and additionally i booked a flight for January 1st, but i didn't book a flight back because i apparently do not know what the concept of proper planning is. but at least i know i will not travel back from the same country. i think i'll visit 4 countries over the span of 16 days then.

and of course i'm travelling alone for the first time making this even more chaotic haha help

okay this has been quite fun! today is my last day here and tomorrow i'm heading back home to Finland via Munich.

of course at occassions i would have liked to share the experiences with someone, and as a shy person it has been hard sometimes, but mainly i've been doing good and enjoying myself :) good practice for January and the 2-week trip in Germany and Benelux-countires

Hi!

I’m Dany. I’m 18 and I’m still in HS, through a Technical Sales and Marketing Department Course.

I’ve been following the studyblr community for a while now but I was always too afraid to join in because I wasn’t sure if I’d fit in. Now that I’m less insecure, I feel like having a platform full of people who’ve been here, done this could really help me.

I’m from Portugal so most of my notes and entries on my daily planner will be in Portuguese (if you can speak Portuguese, let’s have a chat! I’d love to meet studyblrs tugas!). 

I’ll be tagging my original posts with # danystudies but, just a heads up, the quality of the pics isn’t going to be super great (shitty phone, shitty camera) and I’m really more focused on getting stuff done than maintaining an aesthetic… Still, I’ll try to not upload shitty pics! I’ll be focusing mainly on my marketing course and in teaching myself french, as well overall positive vibes and mindsets.
