Thanks for the guides, they've been a huge help so far! I started playing Ikemen Sengoku now that it has come out and I was wondering if you know whether the +4/+4 answers will "overfill" the gauge by the end? I accidentally chose a wrong answer and even though I realized it at once, the game's new resume feature absolutely will not let me change my answer now :(

No, it won’t. The affection scale can max out when you read the route epilogue and you have been answering +4:+4 the whole way through. You are then awarded a max affection prize when it does so. This just means, if you want that max out prize, you will have to play the story again and redo the route that didn’t max out.

Next time you don’t pick +4:+4, close the app, and reopen it. It should start you over at the beginning of the chapter.

Oh, it’s like the Ever Afters where there aren’t any spare points? That’s a bummer, but thank you.

As for closing the app, though... that usually works in DtL and MidCin (I like to try the answers myself to see if I can figure out which is best/different reactions and then use the guide) but I don’t know if it’s deliberate but Sengoku is different. If you make a choice and then exit the chapter, when you reopen it, it asks if you’d like to resume or start over. I chose start over because I want to remake the decision, but it proceeds with that same decision and no further choice, at least in my case. :(
