I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the players who depend heavily on this game.
Around last year, I made a comic about MC struggling with suicidal thoughts and Sylus comforting her. Reading through the people's comments, retweets, reblogs, and deeply personal stories, I realized just how many people used this game as a reason to stay. Now that the game is unstable and causing so much stress, I genuinely worry about how everyone is coping.
I know that depending entirely on a game for your mental health isn't a perfect or permanent solution, and I don't mean to sound insensitive by saying that. But the truth is, this game did something for me too. It helped me see my own self-worth. And despite all of its current flaws, it brought me to an amazing, fun community filled with incredible people.
I just hope that the connections we made here can help carry us through the rough patches. Please take care of yourselves.

Twenty minutes. You'd been gone twenty minutes before you turned around, halfway to work, because your work folder was still sitting on the kitchen counter.
