SOCIALLY AWKWARD
I've been listening to this song for months. When I first heard of this last year, it didn't leave me an impact at all. Not until, these past few months, this song has finally got into me.
Well, I guess, the title says it all. Not unless, some might misinterpret it. Maybe now is the time to let this feelings fade away. I just hope that this would be the last time I will catch myself listening to this song. Uh Oh, I guess I need to delete this song on my playlist.
RIP to these feelings.

HELP MY INNOCENT SOUL. A;
Ma, HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY :)
I love you so much, much much. :D
I LOVE YOU UNCONSTITUTIONALLY , Ma :)
Mother's hands
I held her hands as a child I had to reach up for them Sometimes I stretched so high my feet left the ground Little skips or flying over puddles Over bugs Sometimes I think I even pulled her down
I shoved them away as I got older Sometimes I shoved so hard they must have felt broken and bruised I never turned around to see how she was I never asked if she was hurt I never offered to help
Those hands never quit on me They kept reaching out to lift me over troubles to help me take flight They healed from my abuse and came back stronger Time & time again They kept coming back
Sometimes I dream I’m lying in a field There are no flowers No wind in my hair No sky up above No hills, no valleys The field is made smooth no matter where I lie
Just smooth, And a comfort of perpetual warmth.
I just tried calculating my Rising Sun
And here's the result:
Cancer
You are dreamy, with a psychological nature that is oriented towards nostalgia for things past, towards your mother and your family. Your instinct and your need to protect yourself from the outside world are highly developed. Your inner life is rich, with a vivid and even unlimited imagination, a propensity to avoid all risks and to pursue security. You show your true face only to persons you can trust and you need the well being brought about by the nostalgia for the past.
With this Ascendant, you come across as emotional, sentimental, restful, sensitive, loyal, enduring, protective, vulnerable, generous, romantic, tender, poetic, paternal or maternal, dreamy, indolent, greedy and dedicated. You may also be fearful, unrealistic, evasive, passive, touchy, anxious, dependent, stubborn, lunatic, backward-looking, lazy, burdensome, impenetrable and a homebody.

Be Proud of being a KPOP Fan Girl/ Fan Boy
When you are feeling too tired, you must remember your idol. That is, the idol whom you were once so crazily in love with. That is, the idol whom you used to memorise their facts faster than memorising new vocab. That is, the idol whom you used to write about, about how much you love them on your blog. That is, the idol whom you are able to type his/her name on the keyboard even with your eyes closed.

College - Chapter 2
So here’s the part 2 of my college adventure!
SECOND SEMESTER
Enrolment Day
As I could remember, it only took a day after we were finally enrolled. Well, the enrolment was not as complicated like the first semester’s. Then after, we stayed at our department and had a picture-taking. As I’ve said, we are only 16 left in our block out of 32 freshmen from the first semester.
PSS General Assembly
Another general assembly for the Political Animals. Shifters were also welcomed and oriented about our course. And that time, freshmen supposed to wear something green yet I didn’t follow what they’ve instructed us. Uh Oh, I am such a bad political animal.
Evolution of a Friendship
We went to Mr. Bakeshoppe that day and had two bowls of lomi. It was an unplanned night out (^^). We went there after our 4:30-6:00 pm Math 31 class. Also, I didn’t eat dinner after. I was totally full then. I really enjoyed our company. And I’m grateful for having them as my friends. :)
CASS Paskuhan
It was said to be the CASS and Gen Ass and Cass Paskuhan at the same time. Another day to gather the arachnids in one event. Parlor games were held. Also, the first semester’s dean’s listers were recognized. And I am blessed for being among them. Thank you so much Almighty God! My efforts have finally paid off.
PSS Christmas Party
This was the last event we had to attend on the year 2013. In that event ,we were all required to wear white since the concept was white Christmas. We also played parlor games. Then the food made me happier after the parlor games. We also exchanged gifts. Then we took some photos after.
Going home finally
As I could remember, we stayed at McDo that time for almost a day! I’m serious! We waited there for the vehicle that was supposed to fetch us. We also had to buy food from time to time so that it wouldn’t that so embarrassing for us on staying there.
CASS Foundation Day
We stayed at the library that time and took some photos. We had to make our assignment in ECON1 and we’re not really sure about our answers. Then we went by at the CASS lobby and had some photos there. Happy Foundation Day CASS Long Live!
Rehearsals for One Billion Rising Event!
The political animals were invited by the STAND IIT to join the One Billion Rising Event that is supposed to happen on the 14th of February. That was our first practice and here are some photos with them.
(Photo credits : STAND IIT, CML)
One Billion Rising
A very great day to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Along with selected colleges, we had our performance at IIT Lawn in the afternoon. And the political animals had to perform it again at the City Plaza. And here are the photos during the event.
CWTS Water Safety
I really had enjoyed this semester’s CWTS activity. I was brave enough to jump in the 16ft pool! Hooray to that!
Political Science Open Forum
We had the chance to go at the CASSalida theatre. We helped our adviser to prepare the theatre for the open forum that was supposed to be held the next day. The guest speakers were from Japan! It was also a great pleasure to be invited on that open forum yet we didn’t have time. We had to prepare for our defense in our term paper which will also be held on the same day.
CWTS Tree Planting
This was another chance to join a tree planting activity. That time, we had to escape from our ECON1 seminar . We really should have the seedlings planted that time or else we had to plant it on our own. And I am blessed to have them as my groupmates. They are really responsible. (Photo credits : ST) *I know, I look so fat*
Liz’ 18th Birthday
We celebrated her birthday at the Jollibee. We had a hard time figuring out where to celebrate it. We didn’t have any idea where is the right place to celebrate it. It was a late evening already. We planned it during our Math 31 class. We had paper chat to communicate. Hahaha, it was such a great night. I really am grateful for having them as my friends. :) True Friends indeed.
Greenden’s 17th Birthday + Happy International Women’s Day
Again, political animals had to attend this event. We had our parade at 7:00 am until 9. Then after we celebrated Greenden’s birthday with friends! And the crew at Tita Fannies also surprised her a cake! Another moment to be treasured. Thank you gals for being part of my college life.
PSS Sports Fest
This was the last event that was conducted by PSS. Our team, MACHIAVELLI, was proclaimed as champions! I really didn’t expect that our team will win. I thought our team would be the weakest (!) since our leader informed as that practices for the event are not needed. Our pure talent would be just enough. And that time I was like : Seriously? We don’t have to prepare anything? Uh Oh, I should really have to accept that we will lose in this competition. But then we actually won! Wohoo! Even if I didn’t participate on such contests ( atleast I exerted effort during our yell, the photos are proofs) , I am still proud of being a member of the team! And also, our certificates of recognition were given to us. Uh Oh , is it too late to celebrate?
Lit 1 Culmination Day
This is one of the most memorable I had during the second semester. I enjoyed working with my groupmates. We really had developed a friendly relationship. I used to miss them after our rehearsals had ended. Our performance was a success too! Our prof. told us that our block had the best presentation among the other blocks! I am so proud of our block. SIKHAI!
ENG2 Term Paper Defense + Sleep over with buddies
The defense went good. My partner and I presented our term paper first. Also, our instructor treated us Jolibee burger! She really has a warm heart. Also, she gave me the book she promised. It was a reward for having the highest score in our prelim exam. I really am grateful for having her as our instructor.
Then we had a sleep over after. With Denden, Liz and Jem. I wish our other friends were around too. (Photo credits : GMA)
Another Friendship Day
That was after our graduation in CWTS then we had lunch together. We also planned to have some photos and make a video. Then we ate PAN Q at the Children’s Park (I still wonder why it was named after it, ‘twas my second time eating Pan Q, and it’s really delish!). Indeed, it was a great day. It was also our last day to spend time with Denden for she’d be in the PMA academy for years. And she was supposed to leave the day after that day.
I really am so blessed in this semester. I am looking forward for more fun on the next semester. Thank you so much guys, for making this semester worth remembering. Till next time! ^^
♣ & ♣
“There is a twilight zone in our hearts that we ourselves cannot see. (...) It is the twilight zones of our hearts where true friendships are born.”
True Friends to be treasured, indeed!
My college life has become extraordinary when I met these creatures. I can’t even recall how we first got together. Oh by the way, I was already close to some even from the last semester. These guys had really made my second semester in college to something that can be really treasured. I mean, they’re not typically the same with my friends in High School. Ah, not to mention, but they are way better than my friends in high school.
So here’s a picture of us. Ah, by the way I just had to edit it so that I could include Marbz there. Uh oh, it seems like we can never be completed when we take a photo.
From left to right.
Jal/Jally
That girl in gray-long sleeves. Hahaha, her name actually defines who exactly she is. She is jolly. She brings laughter to our group. Actually, she’s one of the first friends I had in college. I already knew her since enrolment day and also we came from the same region, Region XII. This girl had shared me so much laughter since first semester. We were seatmates in our ENG1, and, hahaha, we kept on exchanging laughter. And oh, we even sat on the front row! Good thing our instructor didn’t scold us. Hahaha. This girl has creative hands too! She’s good in making crafts and all! She’s also a campus journalist, and a good broadcaster. She may have a short height, but I tell you! Her talent is way bigger than her height! Hohoho.
Jemjem
The one with spectacles. I never expected to be friends with her, swear! We’re not really that close last semester. Hahaha. This girl really has optimism. She also has a warm heart. Even if she knew that some people are backstabbing against her, she doesn’t mind them. But I find her so weird sometimes. There’d be times when she wants to leave hurriedly. Haha, I wonder where she is up to. And didn’t I tell you she’s good in dancing?! Hihihihi
Denden
The girl in white shirt. Hey, she’s a future cadet in PMA! Yes yes! Hahaha. Oh by the way she was already my friend since the first semester! Hihi. She’s good in singing too! Yeah, swear! Haha, this gal have always shared me positive thoughts. She’s also optimistic! Hihi, I guess it would take years before I’d be able to see her again. May God continue to bless her on her stay at the PMA Academy. And may she not forget to send me strawberries, Hihihi ^^.
Alizza
That gal in Black n White Long sleeves. She has been my friend since High school, a good friend indeed. She is the person whom I run to if I don’t feel comfortable with my High School Barkada. Ha, this gal is also my roommate. Hihihi. By the way, she’s the reason why I studied in MSU IIT. She was also the one who convinced me to choose POL SCI as a pre law course. We also share the same dream, to become a lawyer. This girl have also shared me positive thoughts and motivation. I am so grateful for she is still a good friend to me ever since high school.
Gail
That girl in gray-long-sleeves. I guess I’m the only one who calls her that name. I prefer calling her Gail than Roxan. Hahaha. She’s already my friend since the first semester. I can find myself in her. She’s a shy-type too. Hahaha, and a man-hater like me. Those are some of the reasons why we get along. But this semester, she became so blabber! Haha, she became so noisy too. We also share the same dream, to become a CPA.
Ezil
The girl in black shirt. She also brings laugher in the group! Haha. I admire how she strengthens her faith in God. She’s optimistic too. She is that someone whom you can depend on.
Jano
That guy, the only guy in the group. Hahaha. He is a debater! Oh Lalala. I guess he’s savvy too. It’s like he knows everything! Especially about beauty pageants! Hahaha. But yeah, I’m serious. He’s good in geography too! And I must not forget, he always bring laughter to the group. HAHAHA
Marbz
This girl who is really faithful in God. I thank her for sharing the words of the Lord. She’s also an organized person. Hihihi. And she’s a good speaker too! She always tell her iloveyou’s to us whenever we part ways.
Ahh, I am so grateful for meeting these people. I will always be thankful for having them in my life. Ahh, guys, if you just know how I am so happy when I spend my time with you. Thank you so much for making my days in college so worth it. Thank you for all the laughter you’ve shared. And also thank you for your inspiring and motivating words! We may parted ways, shift to other courses or transfer to other schools, but, please do remember how grateful I am for having you in my life. I will never forget you guys, ever. May God will bless us and our friendship. :) I LOVE YOU GUYS from the bottom of my hypothalamus. :D

College - Chapter 1
WOW. I just survived the first year of being a college student. I still can’t believe I have surpassed those challenges I had encountered during my first steps in college life. I remember how I was so excited to step on this another level of academe. I was in a hurry back then to send myself in college, when I was still in High School. I was so excited to meet new faces, to experience new adventures and to live in a different place.
I once dreamed of having the chance to escape from my hometown. I dreamed of exploring new bliss from my own nutshell.
It took weeks for me to adjust myself on these changes. I need to accept that I won’t see my family whenever I wake up in the morning. I need to get used with the food available in this City. I also have to get used riding on cabs and get familiar with their routes. Yet somehow, I managed to adapt the way people live there.
FIRST SEMESTER
Enrolment Day
We stayed at the hostel the night before the enrolment. As early as 6:00 am we started staying at the CASS lounge to get ready for the enrolment. That moment I felt so worried in an instant. I told myself : Wow, so this is it. My college journey is about to begin. Indeed, that feeling still bothers me up to now.
I felt at ease seeing my co-enrolees with the excitement painted on their faces. Like me, they were so excited for college too.
I met a friend named Lowee. Her name even sounds like mine. She was my first friend in college actually. I still remember how she told me her plans about her career. She planned to shift course on the second semester and she has plans about taking an exam in PNPA. But maybe, some things won’t happen as what she has planned. She failed her previous course, our course. And with a blink, her plans regarding shifting to Psychology has vanished. We also parted ways. We don’t talk as much as we do just like before. Maybe for the second thought, we’re different towards each other. Yet still, I am thankful for being able to meet her.
And these are the photos I took while walking around the university! I guess it’s just normal for a freshman to explore and take photographs of the places that she would be staying to for months.
It took us two days after we were finally got enrolled. It was so tiring but I was still able to wear my smile every moment I face my co-freshman. I was hoping to gain friends too, and also to meet someone, not you nor him but her. I am hoping to find a friend whom I could share laughters with – a friend whom I could call the best.
It was 9th of May when we were finally enrolled. The time just flew so fast. I only had less than 30 days to prepare myself in college. I can’t even remember now how I spend those remaining days I have at home. Not until it was 6th of June when we finally arrived at ILGN. Then the day after is supposed to be the first day of school. And I was amazed, seriously? The first day of class would be on Friday? And as I was expecting, there were no formal classes during first days of school.
KASAMA General Assembly and Acquaintance Party
The first school event I have attended. I enjoyed watching other students performing during the Acquaintance Party. IItians really have pure talents and skills. We also visited another event : Freshmen Night Out which was held at CON Bldg. But my friends decided to leave and attend Kasama’s Acquaintance Party instead. With that, I got more excited about the upcoming events at the university.
Political Science Freshmen Orientation
We were given an opportunity to get informed about our course. We were also introduced about the faculty and staff. And I just have learned that our society is not just like any other. Our society was considered as MSU IIT’s Royal family and the members are considered as elite minority.
CASS General Assembly
I remember how we prepared our yells for this assembly. The dean’s listers of previous semester were also recognized. Then I dreamed that someday I will also have the chance to stand up on the stage and receive my certificate of recognition.
Political Science Tree Planting
So I just knew that the trees I see around the university were actually planted by Political Science students. We were tasked to plant seedlings and were told that we need to take good care of them until the end of the semester.
We also had to assemble at 6:00 am and we had to plant seedlings at the CASS Lawn.
These are some photos taken during the activity.
CASS DAYS
This event was known to be the most anticipated event in CASS. And since our society has the least population among the other departments, we all had to participate the highlight of the event : Foot Parade. It only took half of the day for us to prepare our yells and props. As freshmen, we were so pressured after knowing that our society has been the overall champion of the said event for years (except last year’s).
I decided not to participate in any competitions (except for the foot parade for we were all required to join). I didn’t want to commit myself to any circumstances that would disturb my studies. I was so serious about my academics. I don’t want to allot my free time to attend rehearsals of such contests.
Our society was proclaimed as this year’s 1st runner up. It was not bad all. I also had the chance to meet Ate Ash, a tumblrist too. ^^
And let me show the photos taken during the event.
(Photo credits : PSS, SSJ, JM)
Political Science Society Tree Planting Part 2
We had to plant again. That time we planted seedlings behind the SET Bldg. And here are the photos with my lovely blockmates.
Political Science Acquaintance Party
We had the party at Taytay. Upon arriving at the venue, we were given colored papers with the group name on it. I was on team Orange. That began the activity. We were told to give our own yells too! And we (freshmen) also showcased our performance, ‘twas a shameful performance. We haven’t prepared for it.
I had enjoyed the event. Also the FOOD made me happier!
And here are the photos :)
(Photo Credits : Political Science Society)
Charter Week
Another event to attend! But the program prepared by the Kasama was not really that great. I thought the event would be a blast just like the Acquaintance Party. What made me happy in this event is because of the Tabo sa IIT. I was waiting for it. I really love street food.
These are the photos taken with my friends. (Photo credits : JLA)
Hugyawan Fun Run
This was my first time participating in this kind of event. We had this during high school but I didn’t grab the chance to participate. We need to join in this event since it was required in our PE1 subject. I remember when we arrived late and had to be at the very last line.
And these photos are proofs that I have joined this fun run.
CWTS Rover Scouting
I should really feel so blessed for being in this section. We had the chance to escape from ILGN! We had trekking and explored the caves at Initao-Libertad Landscape and Seascape.
And here the photos I took during our stay there.
We also had other activities in other subjects.
Filipino 1 Culmination Day
We filmed our video teaser here for the culmination.
Eng 3 Impromptu Speech
So we had this activity during our ENG3 and sad to it was not a success for me.
P.E 1 Aerobics
We had to shoot a video regarding Aerobics. And we only prepared for this in just one day!
**Gonna post the part 2 soon! By the way you can read here the post I made regarding the subjects I took in this semester. **
