The (un)able bodyguards || Naniriel,Rhialdil, Eksfer
Eksfer was a bit confused about Naniriel’s interest to dolls with that age, but left it without comments. Instead, while grinning to his favorite word, he started talking to Rhiandil. “Interrogator’s job… It must be the perfect job for me. I mean, I’m very worried about distribution of such heresy of the Nords. So the interrogating must ne done, huh? Yes. I think that’s the job for me.” He seemed to be amused again what it this case might looked a bit scary.
Surprised, he turned to Naniriel. “Perfumes… I think now we still have SOMETHING common. I’m into alchemy as well-” he took a tiny bottle from his inside pocket “-and made this by my own hands. I want you to give your opinion on this.” He gave the bottle to Naniriel. The smell was like sleeping on rose pillows under the moonlight next to flowing river after a windy, fresh day. The liquid was clear with spark-like glitters in it.
Naniriel took the perfume vial and opened it, letting the scent come out. It was absolutely perfect, but damned if she would admit it to the unpleasant old weirdo.
“It’s alright”, she said under her breath, with an uneasy pout on her face. “I could hold onto this if you insist.”
Rhiandil rolled his eyes at his cousin’s poor lying attempt, but perhaps it was for the best that she was horribly bad at being rude.
*“I suppose it’s settled then. My lord will no doubt become an excellent interrogator.” That much he could see without doubt. There was a certain coldness to the piercing blue eyes that resembled the one his uncle, Naniriel’s father, had in his. That coldness had more than once turned out to be cruelty.
“Does my lord have… Experience on the matter?” he inquired carefully, simply out of curiosity. “Not that there needs to be, obviously. Or that there are any requirements at all in your case, my lord, I didn’t mean to imply such a thing!”
Eksfer saw through Naniriels lying and kept his smile as attractive as it was. "It's yours, tiny-dolly" he said and blinked.
"No, unfortunately I don't have any experience, but... Perhaps it's quick-to-learn job for me, I feel like I'm born to do it. Now, because it is topic good to note, I feel quite alive. Differently. Like, I'm really going to have some fu... Good time in my life." Even he wasn't sure did he speak to himself or to Rhiandil.
First Eksfer just stared the floor, then he lifted his head and took a look at the view from carriages window. "As far as I know, it needs good temper and strength of mind to interrogate. Perhaps a tiny bit of... " he took a small bead from his pocket, lifted it to the level of his eyes, and smashed it with his fisted palm "...understanding." At the end of his sentence, his grin was too pleased when cartered to the topic.
"I'm open-minded person. I want to hear all you have to be told."
The (un)able bodyguards || Naniriel,Rhialdil, Eksfer
Eksfer seemed to be even more interested. “I do believe you all have been working hard, and we are able to see results already but…” Eksfer did again that confident, quite attractive smile, “I also think you might need my labor input beside my contributions.
Eksfer turned to Naniriel. “I can assure my chef knows what’s the best filling there is. Making the liquer, he uses berries and fruits from my own garden, and my gardener makes the best quality results with every plant there is.”
Again talking to Rhiandil, Eksfer continued. “Yes. Absolutely yes. Count me in, as I’ve heard they say. While usually I’m in with everything that happens, I mean in my manor, I am not used to use that kinds of phrases.”
He found himself a bit sad when he noticed, that he doesn’t leave from his manor so often. Quickly he amended his posture and took that confident grin. “What do I need to do?”
“Our chef made bett—”
Rhandil cleared his throat loudly to interrupt his cousin.
*“Well, there are a few professions that have a bit of a hands-on approach to them, such as the retrieving the suspects”, he explained with a polite smile. “And of course the interrogation itself, if my lord has the stomach for it. Neither I nor Naniriel have really excelled in the art, despite the family history. She’s still more interested in pretty dolls and uses alchemy to create perfumes.” He made a side glance at Naniriel.
“Meanwhile my cousin might be more interested in work if it wore a skirt and flashed pretty smiles at him”, she notes, still chewing on the candy, speaking with her mouth full. Rhiandil answered with an icy stare at her.

Suprisely he turned to Naniriel. "Parfymes... I think now we still have SOMETHING common. I'm into alchemy as well-" he took a tiny bottle from his inside pocket "-and made this by my own hands. I want you to criticize this." He gave the bottle to Naniriel. The smell was like sleeping on rose pillows under the moonlight next to flowing river after a windy, fresh day. The liquid was clear with spark-like glitters in it.

Eksfer listened carefully. He nodded couple of times and took his briefcase to his lap, opened it and took two items from there: paper parcel and a mirror. First he looked at the mirror, smiled to himself and poked his hair a bit. Then he gave Rhiandil that parcel. “I believe everyone will understand what’s best for Tamriel. It’s a pity there still is that kind of heresy. What has been recognized as the best way to educate everyone?” He really seemed to be very interested about the topic. “But now, I think that the best for us is to eat these. There’s handmade liquer candy from my best chef. You should try some.”
The mer’s gestures made Rhiandil stare for a bit, but for Naniriel it was like any other day. She was fond of posing for the mirror in different outfits as well, and didn’t find it weird. Rhiandil accepted the parcel.
Naniriel’s hand was so quick in taking the candy that Rhiandil hardly even saw it. No matter how much she would hate a man, she would never turn down an offer of sweets. Rhiandil accepted one as well.
*“Thank you, sir. As for the Dominion, yes… Well, while in other Provinces, we’ve been able to concentrate more in politics, here in Skyrim we seem to be rather stuck in hunting the heretics who insist on worshipping Talos. Somehow it seems to be of particular importance to these people—”
“The filling tastes odd…” Naniriel made a weirded out face, talking with the candy in her mouth.
*“Ahem, as I was saying, despite the Justiciars we have to put into rooting out heresy, we have the Empire of Cyrodiil in our pockets, like The First Emissary Elenwen will assure you any time, with proof. I’m inclined to believe her. It’s just these Nords, they are very stubborn. But”, he cleared his throat, “with your continuing support, we have been able to educate the Justiciars to excellence, and the inquisition works like a clock. My lord, do you have any interest to join the ranks yourself? Get into the action?”
Eksef seemed to be even more interested. "I do believe you all have been working hardly, and we are able to see results already but..." Eksfer did again that confident, quite attractive smile, "I also think you might need my labor input beside my contributions.
Eksfer turned to Naniriel. "I may assert my chef knows what's the best filling there is. Making the liquer, he uses berries and fruits from my own garden, and my gardener makes the best quality results with every plant there is."

Eksfer’s confident smile freezed. He took a look of Naniriel from head to toes. “Head Interrogator…” The word lifted a small grin to his face. “oh, and growing age… I see.”
Eksfer told Hardiers to go next to vagoner and stepped into the carriage. Before everyone were inside, he started talking. “Now, tell me. I’ve been a generous patron. Please tell me everything worth to know about this… organization.”
His perfect dentition and how his hair was done was able to do a huge impression to everyone around and his dress and jewelry told nothing but ‘I’m rich as heck’, but the shadow of his un-politeness darkened his essence
They made haste into the wagon, and it started moving the moment Rhiandil closed the door.
*“We have been making progress in most Provinces, I would say the majority of Tamriel recognizes the Altmer as rightful ruler”, he explained.
“And of course, our Bosmer cousins”, Naniriel added, putting pressure on the ‘cousins’ part, to highlight the fact that she is not one of them. Even though basically everyone except Naniriel herself more or less knew that the Bosmer would hardly be equal to them in any official position, it was the official opinion of the Dominion.
*“Our goal is to educate the lesser races of Tamriel about the supremacy of the Aldmeri kind, and root out the worship of Talos, the so called deity of the Nords, a human who allegedly ascended to godhood. Of course, I’m sure my lord sees the logic in why the heresy must be stopped. We cannot possibly accept a human into our sacred pantheon.”
Eksfer listened carefully. He nodded couple of times and took his briefcase to his lap, opened it and took two items from there: paper parcel and a mirror. First he looked at the mirror, smiled to himself and poked his hair a bit. Then he gave Rhiandil that parcel. “I believe everyone will understand what’s the best for Tamriel. The two young mer tried to stand straight and look impressive outside the Patron’s manor, waiting for him to arrive. Everything seemed to depend on them, to educate the patron of the Dominion ways.
“How can an old grump like him not know about the Thalmor”, Naniriel complained, afraid of the mission given to them. “They can’t possibly blame us if we muck this—”
“Gods, won’t you shut up already? I swear I’ll make uncle marry you off you the guy if he hears you talk like that. He’s a patron to the organization, and I will not have it on my head if he hears you call him an ‘old grump’. Oh, there he comes, try to act like an adult.”
Naniriel and Rhiandil stood in front of the wagon in Thalmor uniforms, and bowed politely when the patron came in sight.
“Lord Eksfer”, Rhiandil announced, “I am Rhiandil of house Anyndaen, and this is my cousin Naniriel. The back of the wagon is reserved for your luggage. Will you be taking a servant with you, sir? There are free servants available at the Embassy, but if you would prefer one of your own, there is a bed reserved in the servants’ quarters.”
Eksfer came in front of them with an amused facial expression. “So… they sent two bosmers to pick me up? How cute.” Eksfer looked over his shoulder and talked to one bosmer servant who came after him. “Hardiers, take my luggage to where they should be.” Then he turned back to Rhiandil and Naniriel. “Hardiers is my best butler. He’s coming with me.”
Rhiandil’s face grew slowly red with embarrassment. He had never been insulted by anyone in such a manner, and he opened his mouth without any words coming up. Naniriel, instead, was way too accustomed to such a misconception, and couldn’t contain herself.
“I’m still growing, you dried up old r—!” she shrieked until her cousin managed to shove her with his shoulder.
“Technically speaking, we both are still in growing age”, even Rhiandil agreed, in hopes to maintain his pride. “I assure you, we are Altmer, of the honorable house of Anyndaen.”
“My papa was the Head Interrogator in Valenwood Embassy”, Naniriel murmured. “And I bet he’s taller than yo—” “That would be enough, Nani”, Rhiandil interrupted, and took on the most polite smile he could manage at such a situation. “Please, if you would step into the carriage, my lord, we should begin the journey.”
He opened the carriage door, since his cousing, seething with anger, didn’t make any effort to do it as she should have.
Eksfer’s confident smile freezed. He took a look of Naniriel from head to toes. “Head Interrogator...” The word lifted a small grin to his face. “oh, and growing age... I see.”
