Dear Fellow Human(s),

"It's been far too long." We feel like these are words that are coming too often of late; perhaps every instance when we write.

In any event, it's with sad hearts that we're communicating with you today... our brother/drummer/savant/renaissance man Jacob Cole is moving to Los Angeles, and this coming show listed above will be our last with our fine friend and supremely talented wunderkind.

Please come celebrate him with us as we bid him adieu and get him obnoxiously drunk after we perform.

Come Hell or High Water.

Greetings from the front end of 2014. For those of you who have been sweet enough to follow our moves, you may have noticed that our last two planned events of 2013 were cancelled due to unfortunate circumstances beyond our control. Well - we have another show planned for next Monday January 20th, and barring any meteorological calamity we well be there in full force. Our first show of this young year will be supporting Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene, and White Hinterland at Great Scott on the above mentioned Monday January 20th. We're looking forward to spending our Monday evening with you and a few new friends who will be joining us and rounding out the band... let's keep that aspect a surprise in case you needed the incentive to come out and be surprised by us. Praise for Mr. Kershaw's Work.

Redefinemag was kind enough to include our album cover for Archfiend as one of the "Best of 2013" in the category of "Mixed Media & Collage Based Album Covers." Our good friend and designer Tom Kershaw was interviewed regarding the process on how we recreated Dr. Holmes's mug shot in all of its hyper-chromatic glory. We're so very proud of Tom, and of our record artwork being included among so many of our esteemed contemporaries.

Vinyl Pre-order!

Vinyl pre-order for Archfiend is up and running, and we expect to ship copies in about six weeks. Our first pressing is a limited edition 12" 140-160 gram clear vinyl with full color printed inner sleeve (including full lyrics) bundle with download card, pin, stickers, etc. (while supplies last). Pre-order is available HERE (sorry, we don't have any images yet, other than the one above which is on the inner sleeve - but trust us, it looks amazing). We'll share pictures as soon as we have them! A Special Note from Us: Like many independent bands out there, and especially now without the administrative support and financial help of a label, we depend on you all to continue making music at a level in which we want to produce it at (while not amassing a significant amount of debt in the process, and without using crowd sourcing or kickstarter methods of financing). We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributes in some way to our artistic endeavors whether it's from purchasing our record, coming to our shows, sharing our music, or talking us up with other people... from the bottom of our collective hearts - THANK YOU for your continued support! Archfiend took a little bit longer to see the light of day (we finished mastering in early 2012; tracking in late 2011), but we really wanted to be able to do it on our own terms and without asking for financial support. We'd never put a record out on our own before, and to do it right on top of having the general commitments of our lives, took us a little bit longer than we expected. In any event, it's out, and we hope you enjoy it!

Sean and Tom recently recorded a live acoustic (vox, guitar, piano) multi-cam version of "Hover and Linger" with videographer/engineer Alex Chaloff. We'll post here soon on where you can see the finished version!
