Okay but consider someone with an insanely pregnant belly, like so big they can’t get their arms completely around it. They go to work and have successfully found clothes that fit fine. They’re waddling around soooo slowly, their tummy moving side to side and entering rooms before they do. Broad category here, but my favorite type of burps? Involuntary:

-Heavy belches that jostle out of them after they ate too quickly

-Soft, strained burps that slip out on every exhale when they're too full to hold in anything that isn't absolutely necessary

-Urgent, fizzy burps that crawl up their throat when they drank soda too fast, and burn their nostrils on the way out

-Burps that just spill out of them mid-sentence when they don't manage to shut their mouth quickly enough

-Two-tone burps they thought would be quiet, but crescendo before they can cut them off

-Short, loud belches that come from nowhere and nothing, leaving the person as stunned as whoever happens to be around

-Desperate, stomach-settling burps that gurgle up when they're feeling queasy

-Sharp, hiccupy burps that tumble over each other on the way out when the person is too tipsy to keep them contained

-Even burps they let up intentionally because they honestly couldn't stand to hold it in any longer
