It is so fucking cool that I can leave the airport on one bus, ride it for an hour, and then it drops me off 5 minutes away from my hotel here. Life could be a dream or whatever
why am i dressed slutty you ask? to read classic literature alone in my room. mind your own business.

âWhat good is it if people are forgotten along the way? If one girl in one million girls is scarred and hardened. Changed forever. What good? Only Yeerks freely give their own to see a job completed. I wasnât a Yeerk.â

i canât get over emily wilsonâs review of the odyssey. anyways here are my favourite parts:
âUnlike some of Nolanâs other films, The Odyssey is not boring, thanks to the source material, which is impossible to mess up entirely.â
âNolanâs spectacle threatens to drown out his story just as the towering waves of the wine-dark sea â more grey than purple â threaten to overwhelm his heroâs ship.â
âBut writing dialogue is not one of Nolanâs talents. The language is relentlessly expository, humourless and flat.â
âI was humbled to learn that Nolan has read at least the first line of my translation of The Odyssey into iambic pentameter. In at least one interview, he cited my version of the first line of the poem: âTell me about a complicated man.â But I would be ashamed to have written any part of this script.â
âIt lacks psychological, emotional, political and ethical depth. Its narrative structure is gimmicky. The writing is abysmal. None of the characters has convincing motivation for their actions or words. There are no sex scenes, and all the food looks horrible.â
