2020: eating healthy, reading more books, studying more and enjoying life
do what gives you peace
There's so much peace in going to farmers market, cooking, reading, slow living in general...
‘no need to hurry. no need to sparkle. no need to be anybody but oneself.’
virginia woolf, a room of one’s own
Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go
I just want to cry but you can’t cry during the storm
“Happy is seclusion to him who is contented, to him who has heard the truth, and to him who sees. Happy is goodwill in this world, and so is restraint towards all beings. Happy in this world is non-attachment, the passing beyond of sense-desires. The suppression of the “I am” conceit is indeed the highest happiness.”

I wonder why I try so hard to make my art realistic.. is it just another form of self-sabotage, because it makes it harder and literally impossible..? But I really do love realistic stuff... I feel like it’s more “real” for lack of a better word lol.. like it’s more truthful and realistic and therefore easier to sympathize with and understand... idk

I’m just trying to listen to the birds outside my window while my brother cusses and screams at the top of his lungs
