           alec goes into automatic puppy mode, bottom lip pushing out as his shoulders sag down in the kind of defeat that only lasts a minute —- he's too determined to cause pure chaos to let the smallest forms denial halt him. ‘   you can't just photograph my body for your own selfish needs and then throw me out. at least buy me dinner first!    ’   & yeah, sure, his parents are literally paying gavin to take these portraits for their home. it's something they do every year; frame themselves up in the foyer so everyone who walks through those doors know they're the perfect family. however, that won't stop the curly haired boy from going off on some ludicrous tangent to stall. anything to distract from getting real work done, right?
