Hello hello! Thanks for taking a look at our buddy/character request. The short and sweet of the story is that we’re two 30+ RP loving gals who happen to play Tom Holland (Ruby) and Tobey Maguire (me) Spider-Mans and we’re looking for an Andrew Garfield Spidey to complete our trio on the panfandom JCINK site we run called, Between the Lines.

While *spoilers* we LOOOOVE No Way Home, we don’t require that you pull him from it. Tobey Peter comes from directly after that movie, but our Tom Holland Spidey comes from around Endgame. He has no idea what awaits him. Muhahaha!

We’re currently working our two Spider-Mans into the same city with a bit of Eddie Brock and Vee causing chaos in the middle. Tom Peter maaaaay currently be playing host to a certain alien made of black goo while Tobey Peter is reluctantly teaming up with the symbioteless Eddie to help his younger self and he could really use Peter Three’s help.

As long as he’s still his Amazing Spider-Man self, we’re pretty flexible on whether your Spidey knows about the other Spideys or if you want to add a bit of comic/previous iterations for flavor (for example, my Tobey Spidey has a begrudging friendship/hinted at relationship with his universe’s Deadpool, he’s worked briefly with the X-Men), etc.

Ruby also has a cinnamon bun of a murderer with Andrew’s face (FCs can be reused, yay multiverse!) and we’d love to see some wonderful chaos where people mistake Peter for Angel and freak out… because glorious IC drama. This totally isn’t required, though and definitely up to you on how you wanna roll.

With that said, there are a few things we do want, both from the character and a writing partner in general.

The Character:

Andrew Garfield as the FC (naturally)

Mid 20’s to mid 30’s

Near the end of his dark place after Gwen’s death, or through it.

Still his wonderful, quirky nerd of a self.

You as the writer:

We’re pretty much always throwing ideas (and some IC chat) back and forth to test out headcanon babies. We’re looking for a third buddy to gush, plot, and write with. While we don’t need constant communication, we definitely want daily chats at minimum.

Basically, we’re friends and we chat and support each other even when one of us can’t post for whatever reason. We’re looking for another friend like that first and foremost.

Rubes and I can be fairly speedy, but flexible posters. Sometimes we post multiple 200+ word posts a day. Other times we might go a week between posts. The board itself has no post per month count, but someone who posts less than once a week on a regular basis or just disappears off the face of the Earth with no warning when a real life moment hits isn’t going to work for us. We need activity IC or OOC to keep our muses flowing.

We consider ourselves fairly good writers with a decent grasp of grammar and creative writing (show don’t tell, etc). Ideally, you’d be the same. To clarify on this point, we don’t need you to be perfect. We definitely aren’t. But we do love to paint a picture.

We tend to write anywhere from 100 to 500+ words depending on our muses and would like the same in return.

We’re both over 30 and the board is 18+ for players. We’re looking for a mature writing buddy regardless of the rating of the content we choose to create. With that said, we’re not looking to ship the Peters. Our Tom Holland Peter is 15 and this would be purely a platonic/mentor/brother style relationship.

Additionally, we’re both admins on BtL and looking to have this plot (and others) on our site. We’re more than happy to make other characters for each other, but won’t do private discord, tumblr, or Doc RPs, and aren’t willing to join another site at this time.

And finally, we’re REEEAAALLY craving this plot right now, but, ultimately, we’re looking for another buddy we can swap plots and characters with. Feel free to check out the board, or catch us on Discord to see if we might be a good fit (Brie#6630 and Ruby#6300).

“kol is hardly a saint, but he’s good to me, he always has been,” she knew, of course, of the less than stellar reputation kol had had in the past, of who he had been after their mother turned him and his siblings into vampires. the brunette chuckled as elena explained how her family had a fraught relationship with the family davina herself had married into, “you can’t become a part of the world the mikaelsons live in without getting hurt, freya and elijah sacrificed me for their own gains, they tore my soul apart, i’ve died more than once since they got back to new orleans, it’s not exactly water under the bridge but… it is, family’s complicated,” davin smiled faintly, she didn’t hate freya and elijah, not anymore, there had been a time when she would have wanted to tear them both apart, but if there was one thing she had learned from her past it was that when it came down to it choosing your battles was far too important. “you’re right, i don’t think klaus is here for any other reason than hope, and i’m here for her too, and kol, i can’t speak for anyone but me, but i’m not here to start anything, though i will protect them, all of them, if i have to.”

elena could appreciate someone who could help a person turn over a new leaf. she hoped she’d been that person to someone in the past, but it wasn’t her call to say whether or not that was true. as davina talked about freya and elijah conspiring to sacrifice her, she wished it was a surprise. elena wasn’t entirely sure who freya was, but in the end, her deal with elijah had gone south, and he’d protected klaus. elena suspected that he always would. “that much, we can agree on.” her thoughts drifted first to her uncle john. discovering he was her biological dad had definitely been a shock, but he’d sacrificed himself for her. an act of love she hadn’t even known he was capable of until it had already been done. and isobel... she’d never known her with her humanity on. she knew neither of them would ever replace the parents who’d raised her, but she still thought about them from time to time. wished she’d gotten the chance to actually get to know them. “well, i’m hoping you won’t have to. it would do this town good to have this many supernaturals in town just existing peacefully for once.”

lady macbeth: i like the fact that i’m resilient. i guess there’s not really a choice when it comes down to things happening to you, but there’s a choice in how you respond. some people give up, and i’ve been in that place before, but i’ve grown a lot since then. 

orsino: i’d want the house i grew up in back. mistakes were definitely made at that point in my life, but when the house went, so did a lot of pictures and memories, and it would be nice to get those back.

Caroline had set up camp for the afternoon at the Mystic Grill, taking advantage of the outdoor tables to get some air while dealing with the endless phone calls headed her way. Students, faculty, random townspeople who’d heard of the 𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐒 that had been the party at the Mikaelsons. Because of course there was a mess. Latte now extremely cold due to her negligence, she set it back down as her phone 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 once more. Lacquered lips unable to contain their low groan, she silenced it before one could reconsider. “mum’s the word on my end,” elena said. how the mikaelson’s event had ended would hardly constitute good press for them. she wondered if word had gotten around so far that parents were calling the salvatore school as well. it wouldn’t surprise her. sitting down across from her friend, she gave her a searching look. “do you wanna talk about it?” she asked. they had been each other’s confidantes for years, but honestly, sometimes the only way out of a situation like this was just trudging through.

horatio: i can’t really restrict love to just one person. i love my brother, and i love my friends who, over the years, became family. 

edgar: of course. that was definitely one of the reasons why i ended up in the medical field. just like my dad. losing your parents before you do something special... there’s always that place in the back of your mind wondering if you made them proud.

tybalt: kai parker. he’s caused more pain in this world than anyone should have to bear. honestly, would there even be consequences? 

rosaline: i try not to let the past get to me. if i’m going to remember things, i want to remember the good things. my parents. jenna. no point in wasting energy on those who have hurt me in the past. wesley maxfield. he was monstrous, but he kept the monster so contained. no one ever knew what he and his ancestors before him did behind closed doors. vampires still have humanity, and the thought of innocent people being tortured is hard to forget. 

ophelia: they say shame is a wasted emotion, and i agree with that. i think regret is also wasted. i regret not letting katherine die alone.

the speed at which davina drew her hand back after the handshake was probably rude, and yet, a part of her didn’t care. she had heard the woman’s name before, rarely ever in a positive light, but nonetheless she had heard it. “right… the girl who killed kol,” davina hummed quietly, “honestly, i don’t know if i want to send you flowers or break every bone in your body,” she admitted - this was the woman who was responsible for killing kol, but then again davina never would’ve met him if esther hadn’t brought him back in new orleans all those years ago and she couldn’t have done that if elena gilbert hadn’t killed him first. the brunette had hurt the person who meant most to her in the world, yes, but she had also ensured in a way that davina had him in the first place. “i’m sorry, that’s, i’m not going to hurt you i promise,” davina insisted, “i’m just, i’m a bit protective of the people i love.”

elena couldn’t recall the last time someone drew away from her so quickly upon introduction. as far as she could tell things had been going fine between them. however, when davina spoke, it all became clear. she raised her eyebrows at the odd hybrid of compliment and threat. she still didn’t say anything, giving her a moment to collect her thoughts. “at least, on that we can agree on. i’m not sure it makes a difference at this point, but if it does, kol did his fair share of damage to my little brother. the mikaelsons in general haven’t had the best history with my family.” klaus killing jenna, using her for her blood, threatening those she loved... the list was long. “but i’m hoping that going forward we can leave the past in the past. we’re all sharing this town, and the last thing it needs is more drama.”

“it’s probably the reason there are so many trays floating around,” elena replied. she’d finished hers so quickly partially because a tray had been passing by, and she wanted to make sure the empty flute ended up on it. “elena, nice to meet you,” she replied, shaking her hand. “they really went all out for this event. it’s pretty impressive,” she mused, looking around once again at all the decorations.

He rolled out his shoulders for a moment letting some of the tension out and turned to given his possibly new drinking partner for the night a lopsided smile. “But don’t let that stop you from enjoying it all the same. Can’t be a bad time to get a taste for things again right?” He decides to join in the drinking a little more and tosses back the rest of his own drink and sets it down. He hasn’t particularly earned a night of drinking if anything he was just doing this out of boredom at the moment.

she set the empty glass on the passing tray with a quick “thank you” to the person who was likely one of many working the event. she had to admit, this was a caroline caliber party, and that wasn’t easy to pull off. looking over at the person she’d just struck up a conversation with, she offered a smile. “i’m not looking to get much more than buzzed at this point,” elena replied. “but it is high quality champagne.” she’d been in school enough to know the difference between the fifteen dollar kind you picked up at the liquor store and whatever this was. “how’s your night going?”

it was as if he could see straight through her. sure, it was possible that he was feeling PARANOID.. but if their past was of any indication, elena was working an angle here. “i know what you’re doing, love. trying to the get inside scoop for alaric, hm?” klaus’ tone was playful, but he remained standing his ground. “there’s no funny business going on if that’s what you and your companions are thinking. i built this school alongside my family for my daughter and other young creatures like her. no hidden agenda.”

“given your track record, you’ll have to forgive me for looking into things,” elena replied. she wanted to take klaus at his word. the last thing their town needed was more trouble. they’d been dealing with things since she was a teenager and honestly she was starting to feel too old for it. “i want to believe your motives are the same as ric’s. so please don’t give me a reason not to.” from what she’d seen, a mikaelson’s word was generally good unless something changed and a family member was in danger. she wished she could hate them for that, but she knew if it came down to protecting those she considered family, she’d react the same way.

most people died. and then there were people like klaus who could conceivably live forever and have pretty much nothing good to show for it. she wanted to believe that perhaps he was turning over a new leaf with his kid and new school, but she was doubtful, at best. “someone with a bit more... influence,” she said, choosing to keep things vague. “you’ll find people in this town can be alarmingly persuasive so just... be careful.”

the name was vaguely familiar, but she was sure that was one of the people who had been involved with the originals. she raised her eyebrows but otherwise managed to hide her surprise. “i see,” she murmured. she apparently really hadn’t been out much, since a whole new doppelganger was here in town. “it’s nice to meet you, tatia,” she replied, very glad that she hadn’t greeted her in a way that was hostile, as was sometimes the temptation when it came to katherine. that definitely would’ve started them off on the wrong foot.

what was a mikaelson family ball without an ominous hint of terror washing over the crowd? the guests bee-lined for any exit they saw fit. piercing hues scanned the party ( if you could even call it that at this point ) for an out. opting for the front doors with a disgruntled growl passing his lips, damon cursed the universe for not being able to take advantage of any supernatural advantages – no vampire speed. catching his breath once outside and fumbling for keys to his prized baby blue camaro. “way to start the school year with a bang. what the HELL was that about–” the salvatore brother cut short as his gaze settled on a familiar face. “i couldn’t find you in there. are you alright? are you hurt?” poking and prodding her arms for any trace of glass shards from the falling chandelier. @elcnagilbcrt​​

one normal night. that was all she’d hoped for. getting dolled up, avoiding hospital chaos, enjoying some champagne. it had all been going fine. she was rooting for the salvatore school, of course, but she didn’t wish for mikaelsons’ event to end this poorly. it was calamity, the likes of which she hadn’t seen in years. just when elena thought she’d seen all the pandemonium the supernatural world had to offer, it threw her another curveball. one no one saw coming. it was all she could do not to get run over in the chaos. elena wanted out just like anyone else in the place; she was just glad not to have been in the center of it all. it didn’t feel that much safer outside, but hearing a familiar voice was better than the one echoing in her head. there is no defying the dark lord. who could possibly know what that meant. she shook her head, reminding herself to focus on the problem at hand. “i’m okay, i’m fine. are you?” it was still sometimes odd to think of damon as breakable as she was, but at least now she had some medical knowledge at hand when vampire blood wouldn’t do the trick.

“once upon a time i had vampire tolerance, but you’re probably right. i refuse to be the stereotype of the one person getting too sloppy on halloween,” she replied. especially since she wanted her presence here to be somewhat useful. whichever alternative klaus was hoping to provide to the salvatore school, she wanted to help however possible when it came to the salvatore school remaining open. ric had been through so much, he deserved to keep this one thing that made him happy.

his mind ran through the cues. the mikaelson hybrid looked her up and down. doppelganger. short hair. not quite as pestilent as katerina. this was elena. or as he would see it – the human bloodbag, key to the creation of hybrids. “lovely to see you too, sweetheart.” his voice dripping with sarcasm. “i hope you’re enjoying the party rather than treating sepsis.” klaus’ words were forced through gritted teeth, attempting to maintain a friendly smile. “where’s the rest of your little scooby gang?”

it was interesting to see him put on a happy face. she knew networking was important, and this event was probably huge for promoting this new school of his. she knew she couldn’t ethically sabotage him in any way (although the temptation certainly was present). still, any information she gleaned tonight could be useful for ric and caroline. the salvatore school was an excellent idea, and she would most definitely be donating once she was more than a lowly intern. “i couldn’t say. i’m on my own tonight. tell me about this new school of yours.”

       “ No . I think hell will really like to torture someone like him . No doubt that is where he is going to go once he dies . “ Diana flashed a dark look as she recalls her time there . It was all so blurry and she hated not remembering anything . “I dont know this klaus but I doubt he has a cliff nearby .“ She looked at her as she raised an eyebrow .   

“but he doesn’t need to die today.” elena replied before realizing that perhaps she’d made a mistake in assuming this woman was a vampire who’d just compelled the man. she thought she knew the look on the person’s face, but maybe it had been awhile. now she was second guessing herself. the woman had to be in the know about the supernatural to be here in the first place. right? “sorry, i thought you were someone else. i’m too used to being around... more persuasive people.” there was no smooth recovery for this situation. she was probably just on edge because of everything klaus brought back. what had been distant memories were now closer to home.
