Sapphira could tell that this place meant a lot to Davina. The way she seemed to feel as spoke about the place. There had never been a place like that for Sapphira. The youth of New Orleans needed that small spark of a place â a place truly loved by the one running it. âFirst things first, evicting the spiders that seem to have taken up residence here.â Gesturing for the broom, Sapphira took hold of it gently and glanced around the shop. âSo you said you and your husband just moved back to town. What brought you back? Family? Work?â
davina had a complicated fondness for most places in new orleans. she had seen happiness and heart break in so many parts of the town it was hard to keep track really. but, in many of those places the good outweighed the bad, and sure, maybe she still had her reservations about moving back. years of travel had made her quite spoiled and she wasnât denying that she would miss it. following sapphiraâs gaze towards a particular spider web she laughed lightly, âunless theyâre going to start paying rent they definitely have to go,â she hummed jovially with a grin, beginning to dust off the counter, âfamily, mainly, our niece recently moved back as well after attending school in virgina, being around seemed like the best option,â davina smiled gently.
