Mike loves pulling Will into his lap, loves holding him there and cuddling with him, especially after a bad day.

BUT when Mike has a REALLY bad day, Will pulls him into his lap instead, let's him wrap around him and just presses kisses over his cheek, jaw, and face in general.

Mike calls Will his baby but Mike is also Will's baby and I don't see people acknowledging that as much.

It’s kind of funny seeing people speculate about why Stranger Things only got nominated for technical categories this year. Like. Babe. What possible basis is there for rewarding the writing or directing? What performances weren’t hamstrung by terrible writing and directing decisions? I’m not saying the Emmys are the epitome of artistic judgment, but there is a floor.

Will Byers hates the rain ever since the fight in 1985. He felt dread wash over him hearing morning weather and rain expected. Luckily it never rained much in California. Because there were no clouds.

Unfortunately many years later in new york it rained pretty often. He still hated it. Even if he did sit at his window, press his forehead to the cold glass and listen to it for hours. Ignoring the wet on his cheeks.

He only came to slowly love it when one day mike showed up in new york, trying and begging to rekindle their friendship, will weakly agreed, and let him try. They went to a bar that night , hopefully alcohol could loosen this tension between them. Unfortunately that ended in a drunken fight. leaving the bar as it poured down hard, will shoving Mike's chest, and sobbing out his feelings of the past years. Will left, unable to handle it anymore, telling Mike to never contact him again. He left mike in the rain.

Will came to love the rain when Mike chased him, almost falling in a puddle to get after will. Will came to love thunder when Mike confessed to him louder than it was. And will came to love lighting when the spark of their kiss was more electric then it was.

Now every time it rained. He looked forward to it. He'd sit on his and Mike's fire escape, blanket around his shoulders, mike climbing out their window to join him, handing will his favorite tea, Sitting down by him as they leaned into each other.
