whats elemental spirits au?

Very happy you asked because now i have a gateway to ramble

The elemental spirits AU is my wip lego ninjago au where essentially all the ninja are embodiments of their respective element, think nya merging with the sea in seabound but for everyone and they were just born that way.

Might end up writing stuff for the AU to go into better detail about the characters & how being their elements effects their personality. Master Wu still exists & gets them all together to train as a team, that stays the same, the issue with writing stuff for it is im afraid of mischaracterising the ninja despite the fact that due to the nature of the AU they'd act different anyways due to being made of their element, a part of a natural force.

Stuff i do have down is how each of the ninja themselves came to be, past elemental spirits do exist still, but usually fade out after creating the next in their generation after some years.

theres more but this pretty much covers a bit of it, it doesnt follow the main shows plotline but im slowly working ways to implement characters & plotlines from the og show into the AU itself despite the differences
