We're delighted to finally present The Book of Lies: Versions Instrumentales (alternate/instrumental mixes of the whole debut WMFL record) as a digital download for the first time. A low-key fan favourite, this was only available previously as Disc 2 of the original and rare TBOL CD first pressing.

Out today as a low-price download or free to stream in full, these mixes reveal the work going on "behind" the songs - details often missed when the music is carrying a vocal.

Thomas White writes: I've decided to open up my studio for collaborations and little weird one-off/shorter creative projects. It is rough and ready but I have a bunch of guitars and keys, drums, mics.... enough bits and bobs to make a record! There are also some pretty broad limitations vs a conventional studio, which I do believe results in more creative thinking and weirder, more unique outcomes. I'm not doing this for money at all so it is going to be about creativity rather than some kind of day rate etc. I'd like to think anyone who comes and uses it would give a small donation towards the upkeep and ongoing running of the place.
