SHE WAS SAVED, Just like he promised. The questioning that lingered in his mind, however… questioned who or rather what saved her The voices that echoed within his mind no longer whispering. No, they SHOUTED like never before. The vibrations of that voice tore his body apart. He had no recollection of killing the dozens of people in that building, but there was no doubt in his mind; he was responsible. His train of thought was broken the moment she grabbed hold of his sleep, for a sliver of a second his hand briefly trembled.
❝– – Alright, I guess I have some time to waste. ❞ He spoke mockingly while shifting from his sitting position to a laying one. It was clear she needed his company, and quite frankly, he couldnt leave even if he wanted to. He promised to see her well being through, to the end. ❝Oh, by the way… Work called. I had to call you in sick. ❞
Ivy only remembers bits and pieces after she got off the table. She knows that she whacked that disgusting man with the hammer but she knows she didn’t kill him She would definitely remember that. She is upset, however, that she didn’t collect one of his teeth -- she hadn’t even thought about it. All that had been on her mind was KILLING him. Then she remembers being carried out by a strong form that was none other than Jericho. That’s it.
She feels the slight tremble of his hand but doesn’t bring it up -- it looked like she wasn’t the only one who was in need of comfort. “You guess? All business no play time, huh?” She sends back a mocking tone, fitting her smaller body into the side of his larger one as he took his laying position. Her movement reminded her that her body was not fully back at 100% -- it ached and pulled with every movement she made. “Work, huh? Those idiots are probably wondering where I’m at.” She shrugs, not too worried about it. “If they were that worried then they know where I live.” Ivy drums her fingers against his chest.
“They’re all stupid anyway but thanks for doing that.” she pauses. “I wonder what they thought when a man answered the phone?” She laughs, seeming very amused at that thought. “I’m definitely going to hear it when I get back to the station.”
