about me
• i’m studying for a master’s in physics after having spent a lifetime earning a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Women’s Studies
• in my second life, i got my undergraduate degree in Applied Physics
• these days, i’m trying out theoretical condensed matter physics and struggling with a capital elaborate cursive S, but i mean to make it worth the time and the pain. i mean to make this work, despite my first year’s bad vibes, bad decisions, and bad grades!
• i currently live in Norway but i was raised in the tropics
• i’m queer, in a relationship for 10+ years now and counting
• i mostly reblog stuff i like (usually art, film, literature, and politics and sometimes women’s football)
• i am doing this blog as a way of finding my way back to physics, having lost my bearings somewhere between the time my mother died after a short and gruelling struggle with cancer (a few months before the beginning of the pandemic) and my first semester as a master’s student (which happened right in the middle of the delta wave and with me reeling from the reckless decision to start grad school no matter what once i got accepted into a decent programme abroad)
• this is some sort of therapy for me so expect heart-on-sleeve weirdness in some form or other
