theres this guy on youtube who just gets stung by increasingly deadly/painful insects and the videos are like 5 minutes of him getting psyched up to sting himself and then 10 minutes of him lying on the ground shrieking in agony

This guy may look like he’s just trying out for Jackass, but he’s actually a really cool environmentalist and conservationist who makes YouTube videos about different cool animals and plants. This particular series he did was to show some of the most dangerous, yet fascinating insects on the planet who also have extremely painful bites/stings. He ranked the most painful and then went and got stung by the least painful (although it was still really painful) insect and worked his way up to the insect who has the most painful sting in the world: the bullet ant, which got its name because it literally feels like you’re being shot when they sting you. His YouTube channel are in OP’s photoset, but it’s Brave Wilderness just in case :)
