Intro Post
Hi! I'm Eli (or Ambre, really, outside the internet). I'm 38, French, and generally speaking, a hot mess, with an ND brain and a cat--very relevant information. Some more facts about me: I lived in the US for 8 years, got a teaching degree there, taught in England for 4 years (science, not French, because I'm complicated like that). Now I'm back in France following a burnout, currently studying to start a new career in social work.
My main fandoms include The Newsreader, Fringe, Doctor Who, Horizon (Zero Dawn/Forbidden West), Mass Effect, The Last of Us, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and brief hyperfixations in between. For the most part, I tend to post about Anna Torv and her many characters, a lot. I've been a fan of hers since I discovered her on Fringe in 2010. She's an incredible artist, and I love that she's the ultimate ninja when it comes to hiding from her own stardom.
I just think she's neat, you know 🥹
Some of you might be here because of my fics. I do write a lot when my brain allows it. All of it can be found on AO3. At this point, I've been a fic writer for over 20 years, so I've written quite a lot of things.
