They would have to show great potential for us to consider it. We are not currently looking for new members.

But there are some people that prefer to stay anonymous for various reasons, most likely probably being that they are afraid of what the other person's reaction might be.

There is no reason why someone should be afraid around us. We do not deal with anonymous clients, and that is a basic rule. We can communicate privately if needed, but we need to know who clients are.

With codes/ciphers, context is key. Give us more information and we will put more effort into solving it.

I don't think that they were offering you a case to be honest. They just wanted to know more about you.

In that case the need for anonymity is lessened. Curiosity is nothing to be ashamed of. If people want to know anything, they can ask.

Funny enough, I was thinking about writing a post to rant about how people were using the same ciphers over and over again. That's one interesting code you got there, so were you able to crack it?

We have, indeed, decrypted the code. It was a fairly simple Vigenere Cipher. The key was obviously Elicise. Our approach was based on the nature of the code and the data at hand, mainly, the fact that we've just made our debut. We divided the workload among some of our members, each trying out different methods. It didn't take much time, in fact it was the first thing that came to mind, for us to conclude that it was the Vigenere, as for the key, it was as you might expect, our name, Elicise. The decrypted code is "Hello, your blog and website have come to my attention and I would like to know more about you and your work", we DO NOT take cases from anonymous clients, if you seek our services, please contact us via our email.
