How do you capture such high-quality gifs?
Firstly i only use vids that are 1080p nothing lower however if i can’t find it at 1080p i’m forced to use 720p which is in all honestly just as good but i personally always go for the best quality as possible which is 1080p.
secondly convert to timeline and then when resizing the image make sure its exactly like this
After that convert to smart object. if you stop there your gif will look like this
that looks really basic because it has no smart filters, but it’s nice and smooth.
so i add the following smart filters
if you add them your gif should look like something like this
Now that still isn’t satisfying enough for me because it isn’t vibrate enough. so i use selective colouring (i don’t use psd’s)
After that it should look something like this
i know it’s a pretty vague and simple explanation but i hope it helps this what i do to all my gifs. honestly it’s all about practicising and exploring all the different ways on adobe photoshop and you should get the hang of it.
This tutorial here by @v-katsukis helped me a lot aswell.
you can also go to @mangastream ‘s blog and just serach tutorial and all of them should be very useful to you aswell.
