I'm already going insane over them..
(This is really messy and I don't know what happened to the quality, but I really wanted to do it bc this song fits perfectly to this scene. Gonna make a better one on Wednesday)
that one scene in x-men : first class where the plane starts rotating and erik runs to throw himself over charles and hold him down to the plane to protect him? yeah that’s on husbands.
Disability and neurodiversity in the Grishaverse
With Disability Pride Month, let’s explore the Grishaverse's disability representation. Leigh Bardugo’s experience as a disabled author gives her a unique perspective in writing disabled characters, resulting in an intersectional cast that includes characters with physical disabilities and neurodivergences.
Kaz Brekker relies on a mobility aid—his infamous crow's head cane—due to a leg injury he sustained as a teenager that left him with a limp and chronic pain. Mobility aid users are usually portrayed as older, meaning Kaz, as a younger character who uses a cane, brings much-needed representation.
Wylan Van Eck has severe dyslexia. As he describes it, letters get mixed up, unlike music, numbers or equations. However, he excels in math, science, music and art. While there are many types of dyslexia, with differing severity, Wylan’s struggles resonate deeply with many dyslexic fans.
Bardugo also confirmed writing Jesper Fahey as having ADHD symptoms. His energetic nature makes him restless and impulsive, potentially contributing to his gambling addiction. He often spins or fidgets with his revolvers and rings, which can be interpreted as stimming. Fans with ADHD can relate to Jesper’s trouble focusing and constant need for stimulation.
Genya Safin suffers from monocular vision due to injuries from a Nichevo'ya attack and wears an eye patch. Her inclusion brings awareness to different types of visual impairments.
David Kostyk is a brilliant scientist and inventor but has trouble navigating social situations, is often quiet and prefers to keep to himself. He has difficulty maintaining eye contact when overwhelmed and expressing his feelings. David is interpreted as neurodivergent by many fans, which provides further representation to the series.
Two characters with prosthetic limbs are Adrik Zhabin and the Darkling. Adrik has a prosthetic arm due to an attack by the Darkling’s Nichevo'ya. Ironically, the Darkling lost his hand as well and now uses a prosthetic. Having two characters like this helps normalize limb differences.
Leigh Bardugo took great care to include neurodivergent and disabled characters in her stories, without them being defined solely by it. They go on adventures, fall in love, make mistakes, save the day—and just happen not to be neurotypical and/or able-bodied.
Because of this, the Grishaverse has some of the best disability representation in the fantasy genre. Not only does this kind of positive representation help similar fans feel seen, it also helps to destigmatize differences, showing we are all human. Happy Disability Pride Month!
| MEET MY INAZUMA ELEVEN GO OC PT.3
TAYRON & RICCARDO ANGST AU :>
— Where Riccardo left Japan to play pro in Italia leaving Tayron and his promise behind
I LIVE FOR THEM!!!! I’m trying to motivate myself to draw a little more but I can’t do it ://
In my hcs as Fubuki having DID i'm not 100% sure that Atsuya and Shirou fully fused at the end of s2. I think they sort of achieved functional co-consciousness, fully working in tandem to keep him functional and to help their friends. In my head Atsuya (now less of a persecutor and more of a protector) still fronts a lot of the time, just isn't as violently noticeable as before and is less aggressive towards the team so they just sort of accept it and include him whenever he's out
Raimon meets ABYSS
I really like Inazuma Eleven and I have an OC within the fandom, I recently decided to start telling his story on an Instagram account.
I think it would be a good idea if I make a blog over here to post his story (even if no one reads it, I still want to give it a try).
| INAZUMA ELEVEN GO OC !!
Collin Terra (LaChance-Kane) is Raimon Junior High School Soccer Team Forward.
His number is the 17th, formerly 10th.
He’s in 3rd year like Samguk (Sangoku).
He’s cold and seems mean but he’s always kind to the people he likes.
Younger he made Darren and Hurley his legal guardian because his parents didn’t take care of him. He comes from a very rich family (more than the Sharp and Shiller)
In his second year he had an accident during a match weakening his knee, impossible for him to play. For a year he had to do rehabilitation and was hospitalized all along. That’s how he met Vladimir and Sol.
His love interest is Vladimir Blade (Tsurugi Yuuichi) <3
His best friend is Tayron & Samguk!

They're so??? Good for each other????? Them falling in love was the best thing that happened to their characters in InaGO Galaxy
My absolute beloved space boys
OMAGAD!! OMAGAD THEY’RE SO SO CUTE I CAN'T —
personal observations made by a new cane user:
you do not need to be in constant pain to own a cane.
folding canes have a clasp or band to keep them folded. losing the band is a pain in the ass.
you will get dirty looks
it does not matter what age you are. you will get dirty looks.
you have to hold it in the opposite hand as the disabled leg. this is fortunate, as I am right handed, so i hold it in my left hand to support my right leg.
people will try to steal your cane from you.
when standing still, I hold it in my right hand unless i need to do something right handedly. this does not work as well as i thought it would.
being visibly physically disabled is difficult. having a mobility aid will help with pain and movement, but some people don't get them because visible disability is treated with disgust.
if someone meets you for the first time, and you don't have your cane, then they will like you more, but they will not believe you are actually disabled.
if someone meets you for the first time, and you have your cane, they will not treat you the same.
the majority of other cane and mobility aid users I have met are homeless. I live close to a big city.
People do not want to see you being disabled.
you will not hear of the benefits of using a cane from anyone who does not use a cane.
no one will prepare you for the world of being visibly physically disabled. however bad you think we have it is usually not from the disability at all. I can deal with pain and I can deal with an indisposed left hand.
the hardest part of being disabled is the fact that no one will care until you make them care.
the disabled seats on trains are a suggestion
the disabled seats on buses are a suggestion.
you will have a different experience with using a cane than I have had.
your hand will become tired. you are using it as a leg.
your cane is legally a part of your body. this will not stop some people.
you are not your disability. but it will affect you.
i love you
theres always an invisible someone who has it worse. that person will not be affected or offended by your use of a cane. take the damn ibuprofen. put the folded cane in your bag. ask your friends for help. gd knows they need help sometimes too.
you will have to learn that things will be impossible to you. you may not run as fast anymore. you may not become a skater, like you always wanted to be. you may be left behind when everyone else runs ahead.
you deserve better.
your cane handle gets dirty. wash it.
some days pain is worse. some days you will feel it the moment you wake up.
no one deserves pain. the human condition is not to suffer. we deserve better. we deserve to be loved and not tolerated. we deserve to be seen better than from the corners of eyes. we deserve to be heard better than an afterthought at a meeting.
be quick to care for yourself. I love you.
Shindou Takuto - Physical Appearance Analysis
I decided to do Shindou too because… I have time and I want to.
I’ll start by saying I don’t think Shindou is pure Japanese; I think he has some European blood in him. This is actually inspired by his Italian English dub version! But rather than full or half Italian, I think it’s more likely one of his parents are half, and Shindou is ¼ European. Very specific, I know… I also think his wavy hair could reference not being completely Japanese - Japanese hair is straight, like Kirino’s or Ichino’s - but Shindou’s is wavy (like European aristocracy). The reason I think this is because Shindou doesn’t really look that foreign unless you look very closely. ALSO Shindou is obviously really popular with girls and I feel like him having foreign blood would make him seem ‘cooler’ since, especially mixed European, good-looking kids are seen as 'cool’ by Japanese. ハーフの成功 or 'a successful half’. I’m sorry if it seems like I’m fetishizing being mixed race…
I also think his skin is a different tanned tone than his teammates; rather than a golden Japanese tan, he seems to have more like caramel undertones. Finally, this is self-indulgent but I think it would be cute that if you look very closely he has a few faint freckles/ beauty marks scattered across his nose. But only if you look really closely.
As for his height, I imagine him around the same height as Kirino, who I estimate to be 5'4"-5'5". The two really are so similar in height that it’s hard to say who is taller. Personally I think it’s Kirino, but…
As for his weight and build… Personally I believe though Shindou trains hard he also eats pretty well (considering he’s rich) which makes him a little broader than the likes of Kirino. I would put his weight anywhere between 125-135lbs.
