for all she is evasive, they are just as stubborn. the ring is looked at with sharp eyes as she withdraws her hand from the pocket and examines the ring on her finger. some things RADIATE darkness - is it uncharitable to say that charlie isnât sure if itâs the RING or the young woman before them doing just that. she slips it off and they look at it for a long, quiet moment. âmagical or muggle?â they pry a little further. âmy brother is a cursebreaker - i can have him take a look at it, if youâd like. see whatâs going on, possibly nullify it, and then i could return it to you.â charlie plans on asking bill about it no matter what, trying to discover just what is going on with it. after a beat a small bag - containing currently a few galleons and little else - is withdrawn from a pocket and opened, charlie motioning with their head for her to drop the ring into it rather than handing it over.
She couldnât show any hesitance. She didnât want to give them her ring but they were very persistent. Annoyingly so. Eliza didnât know who they were but she knew that they werenât going to take very well if she said sheâd look into it herself so she took the ring off of her finger and held it in between her index and thumb. âMagical. They just opened in Diagon Alley.â Eliza gave a slight nod as she looked down at the small bag that they took out. She then reached forward and let the ring drop into it, âI would greatly appreciate that. I really like it and would like to continue wearing it.â She knew though with the way that they were looking at her that they werenât too convinced. âIâm Elizabeth by the way.. I go by Eliza however.â She reached out to shake their hand. Manners first, right?
