I'm a participating artist with Blond Jenny. This is our second museum event.
About the show
Her artwork is the manifestation of her desires, emotions and wishes. When she moved to New York from Seoul, she grew lonely and nostalgic for her life in Korea. When she first bonded with her neighbors, she used that opportunity to create art about her new life, friends, and family in New York. Her work continues to express the duality of her existence in the United States with influence from Korea or other happy places she dreams up in her mind all centered around her character Blond Jenny.
In this show, a couple that grew up with different nationalities and cultures will talk about their new connection and relationship with their natural ego.
