Hi hi!! I’m Elikha and welcome to my art blog! <3

Thought I’d finally make an intro thingy to my blog so HERE:

I’m an artist and cosplayer who very much loves things such as:

- Dragon Quest [DQXI, DQB2, etc]

- Nintendo in general —> Splatoon, Zelda, etc

- Delicious in Dungeon

- Smosh

- Octopath Traveler II

I draw art both traditionally and digitally though traditional is my go-to!

With my cosplays, all DQ cosplays are hand made by me! I have many plans for future cosplays so please check out the #handmade cosplays tag on my page if you’re curious!

Anime North 2026 and baby’s first masquerade!!

The video was my entry for the masquerade, and despite my doubts I am SO glad I went through with it and competed. This was my first ever time competing in an international-level competition (or any masquerade for that matter) and holy moly it was an incredible experience. Thank you so much to the countless people who encouraged me to follow through with competing, including both masquerade staff and fellow competitors, I don’t know if I would have made it to the stage without your kind words. 🫶

To everyone I met in the green room, thank you for enhancing my first masquerade experience and sharing your mesmerizing builds and performances, I feel incredibly blessed to have shared the same stage with yall. Den 2 will forever have a spot in my heart hehe.

Finally, thank you to ALL the masquerade staff, volunteers, audio and lights, mc, runners, stage ninjas, videographers, judges, and cosplay repair workers. Everyone was so incredibly kind and accommodating, it made my first masquerade comfortable and easy to navigate.❤️

I fear I’m addicted now, I hope to see yall again next year! 🫶

Hello person who has mentioned dragon quest treasures i must ask: if you've completed all the train quests and seen the final cutscene, was there a flash of light on a piece of the ground with mia saying to check it out later, then it never coming up again? No quest update, nothing happening if u go there, no further mention ever again, etc.?

I don't know if you're the best person to ask but honestly you're the only person to ask bc I don't use reddit sorry.

I unfortunately haven’t finished Treasures, life got busy as it tends to and the game got away from me 💔💔. Certainly seems strange if there was no follow up, perhaps there’s smth that has to be done first? Again no idea as I haven’t beaten it myself lol. Also gosh flash backs to the act 3 trigger in xi 😭😭 These damn siblings gotta keep their mouths shut when they see smth sparkly 💀

I apologize for not being able to give a proper answer but perhaps someone who comes across this post will know!

Gemma!!

Gemma deserved better writing and I’ll scream it from the rooftops. Ik this isn’t an unheard of concept at this point in the fandom’s life but I wanted to share my own ideas for her, so yapping below!

Her character at the core is fine, nothing exciting but the way they constantly expect that she should be the love interest when she gets maybe an hour or two of screen time AT MOST is crazy and is a disservice to HER. I’m all for a childhood bestie to lovers but she’s a whole lot of nothing, and I think it could’ve been fixed with (some tweaks to her character and) more screen time! I love the idea of her being an Act 2 exclusive party member, sure fighting isn’t her thing but it’s apparently just established to be Eleven’s? When they grew up together?? Or if we wanna go with neither were trained, then she could’ve started training once the Fall happened yeah? Hendrik and King Carnelian show up at Cobblestone after the Fall which confirms its possible to have survived, so how about she headed out in search of Eleven, or could join him and Hendrik once they head out to Heliodor Castle. Idk lots of fun ideas for her joining!

Now, weapons and abilities. I love the idea of her working with axes and bows, axes for having used wood cutting axes in Cobblestone and bows for hunting bows! She IS canonically a seamstress and dreams to bring her designs to a more global market, but I’m almost certain this info is from a loading screen?? Let’s put it into her actual character then. I thought an ability where she ties up an enemy with her sewing/embroidery thread to have them lose a turn and get damaged is fun. She can also use her needles for poison or paralysis? The possibilities are literally endless.

And finally, the design! I took inspiration from both her current design and her child design, with the turquoise tunic and the rope belt! Pretty simple but I thought it was somewhat practical and also fit okay with the rest of the cast. Also had her hair tied up in a braid for battle and shit yk lol
