Elise sighed as the blizzard began, but did seem to relax a bit as the home filled with a nice chill. “Much better, but I think you just killed my hydrangeas, and now my strawberries won’t grow.. I was going to make jams..” She pouted. “Anyway, thanks, I was getting overheated... So, how far does the blizzard reach? Am I to expect multiple car accidents in my area?”

"Oh, your garden suffers no harm", he informed her with a smile, "I'm a god, not a savage." He raised a brow at her question and thought of it for a moment. "Weeell... maybe it reaches all around your house, yeah. In about... 300 miles radius."

“Ah yes, a blizzard in the middle of summer... eh, as long as it can’t be traced back to me I’m fine with it. At least now I can finally get a full nights sleep instead of the sporadic one to two hours a night.” The lack of a functioning AC had gravely affected Elise, and the record high heat certainly didn’t help. If Loki hadn’t been around she would most probably be lounging on the couch naked in hopes to combat the stifling heat that had been present. “Since we’ve suddenly got ourselves a snow day.. how about some hot chocolate?”

"Can you use your ice powers to chill the air around someone?..... Asking for a friend, of which is me, I am the friend and I feel like I'm melting, please help."

"Sure, I can chill the air for you, dear."

Loki's smile was every bit of reassuring, although something definitely was off as he walked outside. Five minutes later there was a blizzard around the house and he walked back with a big grin on his face.

"Any better?"

// THE WEEKEND IS HEEEEEEEEEERE!!!! So, to sum up this week, I pulled my back, went to a chiropractor yesterday, got pressed on to ease the pain, owies btw, today i worked, enjoyed the day, drove to mah friends place right after work, went swimming, cut my hand on some rusty metal garbage in the water, took neat pictures while sitting on a treebranch that was over the water, swam up a strong stream with my friends aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand then vibed in the summer sun for a few hours uwu It’s been a really nice week overall c:

“Much better.” she chuckled and used her nails to scratch at his scalp, brushing through strands of hair. “Do you want to talk about it? You can complain as much as you’d like. I wouldn’t tell a soul.” Elise hummed, calm as always. Even if Loki had a talent for getting on peoples nerves.

Loki closed his eyes as she started to play with his hair, and he sighed at the question.

“I’ve been seeing the same dreams”, he said quietly, as if he didn’t want to talk about it (and he didn’t want to). “And they’re troubling. I’m in a situation in which I want to do something but I always end up doing something else entirely, and always the same things. As if I wasn’t in control.”

As he was explaining it, he started to once again feel the frustration he felt every time he was forced into those dreams.

“Would you mind telling me what the thing is?” The thought of the dreams being visions or omens nagged at her and Elise hoped to maybe help. “If I know, maybe I can stop you from doing the thing you don’t want to do? You can sleep in my room if you thing that might stop the dreams too?” Not to mention, if Loki slept next to her, Elise could wake him from any nightmares or simply sooth him some with her words.

"What? What have I done to get this?"

“Absolutely nothing, I just thought you could do with some head pets.”

Somehow, Loki had managed to set the entire home upside down. Chairs and desks and everything on top of them, as if they were glued on top. He was standing on the upside down ceiling, biting into an apple, looking very pleased with himself. (Mischief!)

Elise stood in the doorway, looking around at the magical mess and sighed. "Alright, guess I'm staying at a hotel until you put everything back in place, text me when the house is back to normal, and I'm bringing the cat with me."

"Ja. I bought two or three packages, jus' in case, 'cause I panicked for a moment. I think they're on the bottom'f the bag--" He pointed at it, grinning at the excitement for the cookies Elise was displaying. "I a'so moight or moight no' have eaten one cookie. Sorry 'bout tha'."

Elise did indeed find them at the bottom of the bag, happily taking the packets of cookies, seeing that one was open. "That's fine, I was going to share with you either way. Everything tastes better if you're enjoying it together with someone special." she smiled sweetly.

"Pasta sounds good, though. I can go 'gain tomorrow, maybe I'll manage ta ge' the other half then." He grinned. "I di' ge' 'em cookies ye loike so much, though."

Her face lit up at the mention of the cookies. "The lemon and white chocolate ones?" Elise asked while digging through the bags to find the treat.

Elise sighed but did start stroking his hair, carefully moving locks back behind his ear. “A please would have been nice, or at least a thank you.” she mumbled with a fake pout, when really Elise was glad he’d listened to her.

Loki rolled his eyes in that certain way that it would've pissed off the calmest individual in less than 0.1 second.

"Pleeeze and thank you", he straight whined, then pouted - not a fake one. He was irritated, tired, almost drained, and he couldn't rest properly. The fingers were soothing, though. He liked it when someone played with his hair. "Better?"

"The good news: I went ta the supermarket an' only needed half an hour this toime. The bad news: I forgo' ta buy half'f the groceries ye wrote down. Guess we're gonna have pizza tonoigh'."

"I'd still count that as a success." She said while taking the bags from him, checking what Eric had remembered to get. "And I can still make dinner with this, like, pasta with sauce and some sausage... Or we can order pizza.."
