It's been months since my squats have been programmed more than 210 lbs. I thought for sure I was losing strength, and just getting fatter and slower. I wondered if I would ever be able to hit more than my last PR of 245, and I worried my commitment to learning Oly was a detriment to my powerlifting π I did my best to ignore those negative thoughts. Instead I reminded myself that there was a bigger picture to look towards, and to just trust the process. Well, it paid off! Playing whack-a-mole with my #snatch training this AM. π‘ I'd correct one thing, then another problem would pop up! Consistently inconsistent and extremely frustrated! π€π© Its taking everything in me to dwell on the positive by reminding myself that I did #deadlift 255x4, 3, 3 | #bench 120x10 | 120x20 bent over rows and pulled a 130lb #sled for 5 minutes right after. It's been about 8 weeks since I started training #oly Its challenging moreso because of the learning I'm having to do as opposed the lbs I'm lifting. There is so much to think about for each pull! π€ I was hoping my snatch to be better than it is at this point. π I'm trying to have patience! My max #snatch is at 113 lbs and #cleanandjerk is 153 lbs. π My brain hasn't quite got the hang of kg yet, but I'm working on it! Today I went for 98x1x8 snatch but only got 5 of 8.
