I’m Eliss Quinn an illustrator who enjoys transforming ideas into expressive, character-centered visuals. Art, for me, is about mood, detail, and giving personality to concepts that start as simple thoughts.
My creative focus leans toward stylized characters, illustrated covers, and imaginative themes that blend emotion with visual storytelling. I love working with people who value creativity and want something that feels personal and thoughtfully designed.
I’m always open to connecting, so feel free to follow or drop a message anytime.

There’s something so fun about the contrast between a leather jacket and a colorful plaid skirt. I loved bringing out the playful tension in this scene, the chalkboard backdrop and the "Help Me" graffiti add that perfect hint of trouble.
Ilya getting more and more mentally ill the safer and more settled he feels with Shane because he’s finally stopped frantically moving through life and the traumas and memories are fully catching up to him.
Starker, more painful memories of his mother resurface- the darker sides of her own illness that Ilya had locked away to preserve his perfect image of her.
The more physical abuse and humiliation he endured from his father and brother, before he got too big and strong to physically intimidate.
Picturing how Shane would be scrambling to keep Ilya safe during his episodes, wholly unequipped to deal with his suicidal ideation and self harm.
Ilya having to go into inpatient treatment, and Shane feeling like he’s failed him, like it was his responsibility somehow (because of course it is- everything is, he has to be in control and on the ball- he can’t let anyone down)
How Ilya’s illness would force Shane to confront his own issues and traumas, and maybe even go to therapy himself.
I want these boys to be happy but god there’s a sick little part in me that wants to make them suffer like I have suffereddddddd

CHAPTER 5
Monday morning, Nanami would usually treat himself to get a sweet treat at a bakery because he absolutely despised Mondays. So this was the only motivation for him. The door always jingled for any customer that walked in and out.
Today, he decided to get an almond croissant with a small cup of his regular black tea. On his way out, he held the door for an elderly couple. The kind old lady thanked him almost 3 times before she caught up to her husband. Nanami looked back at the couple once more as they peacefully ordered at the cash register, letting his thoughts drift to the future. Then the door jingled.
He sat at his desk quietly, trying not to disturb anyone, except for the coworkers that said good morning to him first, he would say it again back. He was surprised that Gojo hadn’t texted him about anything from last weekend. In fact, he hasn’t heard from Gojo in two days by now. Which was normal, but wouldn’t Gojo want to know what happened? This was his idea anyway. Whatever, Nanami said to himself. He opened his work desktop and opened the same exact software he has been using since he started working at this company. The only difference was his almond croissant, and her. Change is good.
────﹒♡﹒────
The week rolled in pretty slowly for Nanami. Gojo had finally texted him on a random Wednesday morning asking to meet up with him for lunch break. Nanami agreed, to Gojo’s shock actually. Gojo thought he would for sure cut him off after that blind date, perhaps Nanami brings good news to Gojo then.
Nanami, being as punctual as he is, was already sitting at the small restaurant they decided to meet at. Gojo was already 10 minutes late, typical. Nanami was finishing the last of today’s paper, he normally doesn’t read the paper, but his company actually had a feature and he wanted to read it. Fishing out his reading glasses again, he puts them on and begins to read the article in silence.
“Can’t believe you’re actually reading a newspaper, why am I even surprised.”
Nanami lifted his head when he heard a familiar voice. The white haired man wearing black sunglasses sat himself down right in front of Nanami.
“I don’t always read it. My company has a feature so I’m reading their article.” Nanami replied.
“Can’t you look at it on your phone?” Gojo asked.
“I like to stay off my phone and enjoy physical things, in my hands.” Nanami said.
“God you’re such a grandpa.” Gojo whined back and pinched the bridge of his nose. “And you already ordered without me!” He said again, noticing the waiter bringing Nanami his food.
Nanami looked at his watch and back at Gojo “You were 15 minutes late. I was getting hungry.”
Gojo glared at Nanami through his sunglasses, after he was done scowling. He eventually ordered his food immediately grabbing the waiter's attention.
“Soo~ tell me everything from last Saturday.” Gojo stated.
“It was fine.” Nanami said, taking another bite into his meal.
“That’s it? What was she like? Was she hot?” Gojo asked back.
Nanami cleared his throat, “she was a very nice girl.”
“But was she hot? Like nice tits, great ass, you know?”
“You know that has never mattered to me.” It never did to Nanami. But to keep to himself, he thought she did have very pretty hair. And very beautiful eyes.
“Ookayy…so what I’m getting from is it didn’t work out.”
“No it was fine, just don’t feel like telling you much.”
“WELL THAT’S JUST RUDE.” Gojo had really lost it.
“Listen Nanami Kento, if it did work out, I hope you reached back to her…You need this. You live the same life every single day, don’t you ever get tired of that? Don’t you want to experience love? Love is the greatest thing life has to offer because of how versatile it is. Bro to bro, love is all around you. You’re just too blind to see it because someone hasn’t shown it to you personally and affectionately.” Gojo finished his rant and sighed ending with, “But that’s just me” he shrugged.
Nanami hated to say it, but Gojo was right. From the couples he would see at the cafe’s he would go to, and to the elderly couple he saw earlier this week. Everything Gojo said was true, no one has ever loved Nanami affectionately, and he finally wondered what that was like just now. Perhaps the world was showing him what love has to offer and he really was just too blind or careless to see it.
He sat there for a thought, Gojo did too. They both didn’t exchange words for a couple minutes. Nanami shifted in his seat, finding the courage to tell Gojo, his friend. “I am…seeing her this…Saturday.” He said.
Nanami could almost see Gojo’s eyes light up behind his dark sunglasses and a sly grin was now plastered on his face. “I knew it.” Gojo said.
“Oh shit– look at the time, I gotta get to a meeting.” Gojo glanced at the clock in the restaurant and quickly sat up, “Hey! Don’t forget to put me as your best-man on your wedding day, thanks love ya!” And in what felt like a split second, the white hair man was gone. Leaving Nanami alone now having to pay the bill for two.
────﹒♡﹒────
Your week of work was decent, but what mostly had you occupied wasn’t what you had to do at your 9-5. It was your plans for Saturday. You were still in disbelief, and when you told your closest friends from school, they were ecstatic. But, your humble self didn’t want to brag too much about him. You were grateful for the friendships you made in college, even though they were all dating and still are, they still had time to hangout with your alone self. All through your 4 years of college, there was never a guy fully interested in you. You had a few campus crushes here and there, but you were too shy and nervous to ask for their number. You couldn’t stop complaining about this to your mom, wondering why no man has ever come up to you the way they did to your friends. And now some of your friends even bear promise rings. You even had some friends talk about what kind of wedding they want, you hated that talk. And you never shared what you wanted on your special day because that was too special and personal to you. But also that you weren’t even dating anyone. You’ve never dated anyone. Never even had your first real kiss. It all felt scary to you. But oh you so prayed to the gods out there that Nanami Kento had a liking to you, you really hoped. It’s like Emiri said, this was a good sign.
You plopped on the full-sized bed in your bedroom after changing out of your work clothes. If there was one thing you liked about living with your parents, it would be that you’re still in your childhood bedroom. Never moved out once. And you were just fine with that. But you were also very excited to have your own place soon in the future, the kitchen will be your design, as well as the living room. And all the things you love will be everywhere around the house, trinkets, cds, books, and pink. Lots of pink, your favorite color. It would be like your bedroom but bigger! And the best thing you loved about your hyper feminine pink bedroom, no man except your father has ever stepped foot inside! And you liked that, because you viewed your bedroom as like a personal diary. You thought what Nanami’s place looked like, was he maximalist? Or was he minimalist? Organized? Disorganized?
Wait.
You were thinking way ahead again. You’ve only seen this man once and were already thinking of the future of seeing his home. This always happens to you when you have a crush on someone, you can't help yourself. You were such a hopeless romantic. Your favorite movies are rom-coms, or dramas. Your favorite books will always be romance ones. This all felt new to you, and you were excited about that.
Looking back at this older piece, I still love the contrast between the modern style and that raw, elemental energy. It’s a bit of a throwback, but the mood still hits just right
There’s something magical about the way light transforms a moment. For this trio, I wanted to capture that fleeting golden hour the warmth, the depth, and the subtle chemistry between them.
Working with those deep blues was an absolute joy. Each shadow, each highlight, each small detail seemed to tell its own story, adding layers to their connection and the atmosphere of the scene.
I love how light can turn a simple composition into something that feels alive, intimate, and unforgettable.
"haein lee almost had her olympic dream slip through her fingers for a suspension by the ksf that was later dropped" oh? and what was she suspended for? hmm?
For this piece, I focused on creating semi-realistic character designs with strong silhouettes, detailed textures, and cinematic lighting. The muted background allows the characters to stand out while maintaining a moody, story-driven atmosphere.
My style blends semi-realism with fantasy aesthetics, emphasizing depth, contrast, and character presence.
