Was a way to harm yourself (like watching Cp (which apparently she did??), looking at things that trigger memories that are traumatic etc) and if she was being groomed (I’m certain she was as she was an underage cam girl) she would be trying to appeal to the people who were abusing her. I assume that when you say “arguing points”, you are referring to my response about trauma symptoms. If you’re talking about something else, please write back. In that case, I refuted the anon’s claim because it is a myth that harms survivors of trauma. It’s the aspiring psychologist in me. If I was too rude or dismissive in my response, I apologize. It was not my intention, but I take responsibility for any effect that my words/tone had.

Additionally, the “over 18” disclaimer is there because there are minors on this app, and it would not be appropriate to create a blog where Tumblr’s primary demographic didn’t know our age. (Also, I’m personally against minors having blogs like this one. I think it’s unsafe.)

Ive literally never heard that trauma victims frequently contradict themselves, but whatever, this isnt about Melanie or her false accusations so i wont comment anymore about it. I never made or got the rape face jokes either, but they sure were prominent online in the early 2000s, along with a lot of other similar bad jokes. Way to just ignore my point though. "Edgy" humor was a thing and still is. A bad joke doesnt make you a predator.

Of course no-one believes that edgy jokes make someone a predator. However, the unironic sexualization of children and childhood, open endorsement of pedophilia on an unironic porn blog, and an unironic confession of an incest fetish actually do constitute predatory behaviour, particularly when the individual has cultivated a primarily young fanbase.
