Hey! Hey hey hey! If you’re a witch/occultist/spiritual spooky person who does candle spells, remember to trim your wicks!

Keep your candles on stable, heat resistant surfaces far away from paper and all your cool oils and dry herbs and stuff!

Dressing candles is cool, but if you overdo it you’ll end up with an out of control blaze! Don’t overdress! Keep them candles skimpy!

Your spell won’t work if you burn your house down! Keep a cool magical thing filled with water nearby, and don’t leave those incense sticks and candles burning unattended!

Tarot cards lost all mystical power in my eyes when I found out that old Italian men use tarot decks to gamble. Someone’s Nonno is out here playing The Tower in attack mode to take his buddy Sergio to the cleaners, and I think that’s beautiful.

One time I was giving out tarot readings for tips at a Halloween event while playing music from a personal playlist, and the last person to get one sat down right as Snow In Summer from the Nier: Gestalt soundtrack started playing. They were clearly caught off guard and asked a super personal question. I usually do three card spreads when I’m reading at events but I figured I’d pull a few extra to end the night with a bang.

Each card, each metaphor I used to explain it, every single sentence I said slowly widened this person’s eyes as eerie choral singing swelled into a heart pounding crescendo in the background.

If you’ve never given a tarot reading, think of the feeling one gets when giving a close friend an extremely needed and deeply talking to after years of letting a deep personal flaw slide. If you’ve never played Nier: Gestalt, the song is from the beginning of a powerful and strange story (the scene is in a snowy city in the middle of an apocalypse. A father is huddled in an abandoned building with his sickly daughter when monsters attack them. He fends them off with a rusty pipe but is defeated. He lies helplessly on the floor watching the monsters make their way to where his daughter is hiding until he makes a pact with a demonic book trading his soul for terrifying power).

They ended up tipping me generously despite my readings at this event being totally free.

Anyways, I’ve been chasing this high ever since. Pic related, it’s me but at a totally different event.

so people on Reddit seem to have potentially solved the mystery of what "Hyperlink Blocked" means.

but a lot of them are kind of hung up on love meaning "LEVEL OF VIOLENCE" and I think in Deltarune it's just another way to refer to the SOUL.

"the soul will become theirs/theirs will become yours"

"love": picture of lots of hearts

and it fits in cases of "hyperlink blocked" meaning both "love" as in "soul" (thing you feel like you've lost control over) (thing spamton transfers to the machine) and "love" as in (spamtom feels really unloved and that's kind of sad bro)

and spamton says that in the Weird Route Kris has been making "love" and in that route that little red dot is implied to be the soul making its way to Noelle - although in the non-weird route it might make its way to Susie.

in a way it's already able to make its way to Susie

(in the weird route Kris can close their eyes and think of Noelle and faintly hear her instead)

but "love" actually "finding its way to the girl" might be related to the final prophecy, because it comes bursting out of this group of "girl" prophecies

So like… I don’t think [hyperlink blocked] means love exactly… I think it actually means “❤️” which can refer to LOVE, the SOUL, and affection in a more ambiguous way.

I also think that Toby Fox played an obscure PS1 RPG called Threads of Fate (Dewprism in Japan) and the brackets are less of a JavaScript thing and more of an emphasis on something [Ineffable], but I’m basing this entirely on how the look and soundtrack for second and third sanctuary

A heartfelt scene where Louis and Claudia meet Smoke and Grace in a club, bonding over their trauma surrounding their makers and the pains that come with being a vampire. The night stretches on as they chat, laugh, and console one another in ways only another reluctant vampire could.

Above, Blade descends on them all with a four pronged sword aimed straight down. He intends to say a hilarious one liner after they’re all slain.
