Elizabet Tursynbaeva became the first senior woman to land a quad in international competition. She also became the first woman to win a medal at the World Championships for Kazakhstan.

Elizabet Tursynbaeva (KAZ) lands a quad salchow in her free skate at the 2019 ISU World Figure Skating Championships. This is the first ratified quadruple jump in an ISU senior ladies competition.

Winter Universiade 2019

Here are her programs from this competition! 

Elizabeth finished 2nd overall with a score of 214.77! She attempted the quad sal again in her free skate but fell. Unfortunately, I don’t know where to find protocols for this event, but here is what I could find on the website. Congratulations, Elizabet! Next up is Worlds!

Elizabet Tursynbaeva just skated into history at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2019 in Anaheim (USA) earlier this year, becoming the first female figure skater from Kazakhstan to step on an ISU Championship podium when she won the silver medal.

This is not a regular post, but I am at 4cc and was there to watch Elizabet win her first big international medal. So there's your update. 😭😊 I'll post videos and stuff later. I did meet her and have a couple photos too. :)

I’ve been slacking with updates as I’ve been swamped as of late, but I wanted to post Elizabet’s exhibition from Rostelecom as it’s dedicated to Denis.

Here’s Elizabet’s SP from her first GP event of the season! 3Lz(< and !), 2A, 3S+3T(<). She earned a 61.19 and is currently in 6th place. She will be 6th to skate for the free skates, first of the second group. We wish her the best of luck!
