I met you and suddenly waking up every morning got easier.
relationships & college
my boyfriend and i have been together for 1 year and 2 months. In high school that's practically an eternity. I never really expected to last this long or become this close. we're practically joined at the hip. I love him so much, with all my heart, and yet the thought of most likely going to schools that are thousands of miles apart has me putting an expiration date on our relationship. I never thought we would get married and live happily ever after or anything but I also didn't expect the class clock to be running out so soon. we've talked about applying at some of the same schools but the reality is that that is so unlikely to happen. I don't want to lose him but it feels like I might have to.
religion
I love my God. I think it would be amazing to go to a Christian university. And I was raised Catholic so I wouldn't mind that either. I think it would just be amazing to have this experience with like minded people, people who hold the same morals and standards that i do. I also really liked that Pep is a dry campus. I think that I will research more religious schools and see if i can't find any that speak to me.
background i guess
My name is Elisabeth, I was born in Los Angles, California and I lived there right until i started high school. I moved to a suburb of Nashville. The adjustment wasn't too bad but it definitely wasn't breezy. This August I am going to be a senior in high school, this means that thinking about colleges and scholarships and financial aid is just about all I can do anymore. I've realized that I would really like to attend a university near my original home and therefore this month I toured UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, and Loyola Marymount University. I felt so at home at UCLA, I was after all born in a UCLA hospital. I also fell in love with Pepperdine, like a lot more than i ever expected. okay. that's all.
