Sold about a year or two ago.

As I said I’ve been doing a bit more traditional work and really enjoying it.

I haven’t been doing as much illustration lately and I’ve been focusing more on painting and gallery work. This one was finished in early 2021 and sold in an exhibition in October of this year. 

It’s titled “Bloom” and is an oil painting on wood around 24″ x 36″. I’ve found that painting and kind of breaking away from what I focused on in my degree has been the only way of keeping myself working in art-related areas. Would love to do some book covers or illustrations in the future I’m just genuinely not sure how to even go about finding that kind of work. I guess I need to start building my presence up again I’m just so tired I don’t know how. 

It’s strange to be able to just type out all my thoughts like this, I’ve been so used to Twitter. I hope someone finds some enjoyment in this piece, I had a great time making it.
