•••Whenever someone gifts me a Taylor Swift related treasure, my heart feels like it stops for a moment because it truly makes me feel understood and loved.•••Story time: I was not an avid music listener until I heard the album Fearless. I was not an avid music lover until I learned Taylor Swift wrote all her own songs. From that moment on I’ve been in love with songwriting, and the joys and sorrows it can bring. I’ve been in love with Taylor, and her ability to make you feel like she’s your best friend just through the vulnerability in her lyrics. I’ve learned a lot from her, and shes been that constant in my life through all the low lows and the high highs. I could honestly go on for hours about my love for her...as my friends know. And I cannot imagine the pain she is feeling right now for not being able to own the masters to her music. The music she poured her heart and soul into. I don’t know where I’d be without songwriting. It has broken me and it has made me whole. And I could never imagine the art I’ve created, the art that makes me who I am, being owned and living in the hands of someone else. I’m thankful Taylor has decided to keep songwriting, to keep letting us listen to her masterpieces, and to keep letting us into her life.
