I wanna see an AU where sei is an artist who takes up commissions (including nsfw) before being accidentally summoned to another world. And when aresh finds out abt his ability to draw, he immediately bought him a whole painting set with a big ass easel and canvas + the finest sketchbook and charcoal pencils, then asks him the big question...
"what were the things you drew?"
Oh aresh you sweet summer child, your situationship drew 18+ doujins, yumeship art, and someones fursona to pay the bills.
Wait till he sees the sketchbook (which is filled with aresh as sei's main muse)
Okay I'm still not done thinking about this
So the thing about Siegvold is that he's well-respected and probably the highest-ranking person in that temple who wasn't implicated in the recent extremely embarrassing We Totally Failed To Notice A Church Official Embezzling Magical Energy To Do A Heretical Terrorism incident. Which, to a church hierarchy that's interested in getting things back to normal ASAP (because, again: extremely fucking embarrassing) means that he's the logical person to put in charge of that particular temple.
Which means that people are going to be paying attention to his ideas. Such as Seiichirou being a Special My Son Who Has Every Disease edition disciple. Which was just very dramatically corroborated by the Holy Maiden publicly giving him credit for her being able to contain the explosion.
And the thing about theology (and ideas in general) is that people like to expand on it. Kick it around a bit. Poke at the bits that are sticking out. Such as, Why now? Why would Abran pick out two Holy Maid... er, Persons when he's only ever chosen one?
The most common interpretation is that Abran was lovingly fed up with the kingdom's inability to get its shit together, and sent in a specialist. But there are people who go in... another direction. They speculate that Abran's power may be limited - after all, why would he even need the Holy Maiden if he could personally intervene? - and the fact that he sent someone to advocate for a more permanent solution might indicate that he might not be able to help in the future because he's running out of juice. In fact...
Anyway, that's how Seiichirou ends up in the hospital with a stab wound and a lot of questions about why the hell his attacker thought that he'd killed God.
These are just some of the frames I like ( ꈍ◡ꈍ)

"Isekai Office Worker: The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter (Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shida)" TV Anime BD/DVD vol.3 cover
On sale May 27 with unaired episode #13 OVA
Once upon a time, in the not too distant past, a holy maiden was summoned. Not just any holy maiden—one hailing from modern Japan. But this story is not her story. This is the tale of the humble accountant, Kondou, who accompanied her and his trials and woes as he accounts in a new world... But no tale is complete without a love interest. And who better to play that role than the handsome knight captain Aresh? Will he begin a personal quest to save said bean counter—who toils around the clock—or is Kondou doomed to be married to his work evermore...?!
Seiichirou Kondou is a pillow princess and doesn’t like it.
Aresh loves it. Though, he also loves it when Sei tries not to be.
Aresh just loves Sei.
i saw this comic of the trope where Character is thinking to themselves 'i don't have time to take a break/take care of myself :(((' and then a bunch of people nearby thinking to themselves 'i wish they'd take a break/ take care of themselves :(((' (which i guess i didn't save and is lost to time now)
anyway i just was watching isekai office worker and i wanted to say how delighted i am with the remix of that trope that is like, no longer silently and sadly thinking to themselves but YELLING at the person to take better care of themselves OR ELSE and the character like noOoOoOo NEVER and then the first guy forcing him to sit down and eat a nutritious meal AND that when he inevitably overworks himself into a medical crisis based on the magical rules of the land the only treatment is to be kissed back to health by the first guy. Now This is Literature
and i like his mystical hoodie!
aresh being so grumpy needy clingy sulky when his comfort accountant is looking interested in something else is soooo cute i love it so much
the difference in their eye sizes I’m crying 😭😭
maybe if i keep rewatching isekai office worker a new episode will magically appear
bro seiichirou just straight glazing aresh before he even got to know him in the light novel “he’s handsome”, “—had never met anymore for whom the word beautiful was more fitting” OKAY WE GET IT
aresei for japan's kiss day (キスの日) today 😚
yall hop onto Isekai Office Worker this is peak
them ☺️
Have you seen Isekai Office Worker: The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter (2026-present)?
Yes
Partially
No, but I've heard of it
Never heard of it
Original title: Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai | 異世界の沙汰は社畜次第.
I think the English dub is really giving me a new appreciation for the Isekai office worker anime. I love this story very much, but it’s pretty easy to see that the series did not get much funding for the animation itself. But, the a lot of the VAs for the English dub really put their all into their performances, especially Eduardo Vildasol as Seiichirou. The snide internal comments, the sarcastic remarks, the resignation when it comes to his work, the man really got Seiichirou’s character brilliantly!
… I hope that performance comes from being a good actor and not because he’s had to suffer working a corporate job
