final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍

Sure, sometimes you have to wear the costume before it becomes the clothes, but also, some of the best people at Pride are the slightly confused moms, dads, and siblings who show up whether or not they understand. "Love is love" also means "I don't need to get it to show up for you."

Trying to prove a point to someone who doesn’t understand why going to a new doctor would be anxiety inducing because “they’ve literally made a whole career out of wanting to help people, how could they do any wrong.” And “Why would you be scared of someone that spent years and years, went hundreds of thousands in debt, just to be able to help people?”

Randomly remember being held down on an exam table by 2 nurses and my mom while I was screaming and crying and thrashing to get free because a doctor insisted on shoving a probe down my throat to confirm the strep diagnosis that they already knew was correct bc I'd had the same thing with the same symptoms multiple times before like clockwork
