Happy New Moon in dreamy, magical, mystical, spirit-full Pisces. And I’m happy spring appears to be peeking its head out for a look see. ☺️ (at Santa Fe, New Mexico) https://www.instagram.com/p/CannhNav4ky/?utm_medium=tumblr
Sometimes on my beach walks I would come across incongruous things that had washed up on the shore, like fruit. ☺️ Other times there would be red and white carnations, rose petals, and various other flowers. I wondered if they were from a wedding, or perhaps a scattering at sea for the loss of a beloved surfer friend. Regardless, the ocean always offers up its treasures to me. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay for a while leaving footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. —Flavia (at South Bay - California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ7pQ6VvbqL/?utm_medium=tumblr
This morning I asked my roommate, ALEXA, what the temperature was. “It’s -2”, she replied. (That’s Fahrenheit 🥶). So I stuck my head out the door and said good morning to Jupiter twinkling at me. It didn’t seem that cold… So fortunate to live in the high desert where the air is crisp and the sun usually comes out to really put a shine on things. The sky truly is that blue. 🙏 (at Sante Fe Historic District) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZk4ayALtHq/?utm_medium=tumblr
One kind word can warm three winter months. ~Japanese proverb (at Santa Fe, New Mexico) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYu7rEVF_dO/?utm_medium=tumblr
Then the sky said, I’m gonna blow your socks off. And it did. 🧡💗 Crispy winter sunset walk. Photos not retouched one bit. No siree. Straight outta the camera just like this. #magical (at Santa Fe, New Mexico) https://www.instagram.com/elsakendall/p/CYniwZyqTRV/?utm_medium=tumblr
Walking into the kitchen wearing flip flops and shortie pjs, I catch sight of this gloriousness, run for my parka and phone to capture it, knowing every second the light changes. The cold air feels wonderful on my face, my legs. I stand and behold the beauty graced to me in this moment, and could not help but share it with you. Good morning from the crows, the clouds, the blue blue sky, and me. 💙 (at Sante Fe Historic District) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYg5hP8r9M_/?utm_medium=tumblr
Me and my shadow. Sometimes it trails behind me, and sometimes it’s right out in front where I can see it. 😳 🙃 A shot from another beautiful winter afternoon, 3:33 pm to be precise, ☺️ in the City of Holy Faith, Santa Fé. Feeling deeply grateful to live in such beauty. 🙏💙 (at Sante Fe Historic District) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYZpV_fv5UM/?utm_medium=tumblr

The Poet The Artist, The Witness, The Truth-teller For my fellow poets; you know who you are. 😌 “The Poet’s work is to feel immensely and not be afraid. They must seek out truth in the darkest corners of the world and carry it back for all to see. This unique capacity resides within us all, regardless of our relationship to creativity. 🌟 When the Poet energy is present, there is a call for deep honesty and reflection, for seeing the big picture within the little one. The Poet rides effortlessly between the personal and the universal. It’s possible that others may not seem to listen or care about The Poet’s work, but do not be discouraged. 🌟 The words of The Poet ring true for centuries to come, soothing the wounds of despair and violence that capture our world. The Poet’s work is never finished. Find your voice, and trust that the wind will carry it.” —Kim Krans, The Wild Unknown Archetypes I love this card; the imagery reminds me of the crows and ravens I see against many New Mexico skies. I resonate with the potential of the darkened figure who seemingly seeks illumination, understanding. And I love the interpretation of the artist, who created this beautiful body of work after a dream where a mountain appeared, saying, “I am the mountain and I am calling you”, which led her on a journey culminating in intense completion and closure in her life, settling on the Oregon coast to co create these images: “The Poet is a bridge between the everyday and the sacred.” Perhaps the bridge dissolves, and we find after all that the everyday is sacred. 🙏💫💛 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #thewildunknown #kimkrans #thepoet #poetry #archetypes #thewildunknownarchetypes #poetsofinstagram #inspiration #oracle #oraclecards #watercolor #watercolorpainting #sacred #innerjourney #courage #thebridge #creatorenergy #risingfromtheashes #phoenixcalling #personalgrowth #spliceapp (at Sante Fe Historic District) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYFlAG8LHrK/?utm_medium=tumblr

This beauty fell upon me when I was bundled up today sitting on the grass in bare feet. I have a feeling it flew over from the GiAnT cottonwood tree next door, a male of about 150 years old whose Golden leaves are still mostly on. Yet I loved this one. Wabi Sabi. “Ichigo, Ichi” which means This moment, only once. 🍁🤎 (at Sante Fe Historic District) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWZ5TKkNCHM/?utm_medium=tumblr
This is autumn in northern New Mexico. Ancient cottonwood trees full of memories and wisdom. Shimmering Golden Yellow. It’s as if the Sun placed his solar power full of energy and courage into the luminous leaves, and invited them to dance and shimmer in their glory. And Sky said, I have the perfect color blue for you, lovely leaves. And Clouds said, I want to play too. And so they did. 💫 Glorious. I am grateful to walk among It All. 🙏💛🌟💙 (at Santa Fe, New Mexico) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVoomzrJRvw/?utm_medium=tumblr

In the time of yellow. I’m standing in a hollow of grass at the base of Clementine Cottonwood tree. This hollow was created by a mountain lion. Truth. The smell of the grass in the impression is musky. In the summer I collected tufts of hair. It is very powerful and I am deeply humbled by any visitation. 😌 I notice a ring of dandelion leaves around the circle. This is interesting as I recently learned “dandelion” is related to lion: dents de lion; teeth of the lion, which corresponds to the shape of the leaves. The lowly dandelion grew in stature for me. How interesting they began growing where the lion slept. 🌼 And then there are the bees. This is the triage area, also at the base of Clementine. After they are fished out of the dish they are layed here to recover. 🐝 I am in awe of how a small patch of garden can bring such richness into one life. Yellow relates to the solar plexus. It connects our creative center with our heart, and symbolizes the Sun, our energy center, courage. Now I understand why mountain lion graced me with its power and presence this year. For I am mustering a lot of courage to do things I’ve never done before. It’s scary and I’m ready. 💛🌟💛 (at Sante Fe Historic District) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVURzv1rUw3/?utm_medium=tumblr
